I’ll admit I spent a nauseating amount of hours to kill kyveza for a shiny mount that was definitely not healthy nor fun, you got me guilty as charged.
To be fair, that fight is extremely well designed and fun to play generally. But yes, the reward is going to keep you trying, then afterwards you don’t have much incentive to keep killing her. Other than purely if you find it so fun.
They should make those mini bosses drop augment runes and such after the first kill. Some item that will help in high level PvE other than just delve stuff.
you’re just asking for a whole new game. You can’t just change the system WoW has built on. You’re asking to change core game designs which is an odd thing. It’s like me going to a soccer game and asking why we shouldn’t play with our hands instead. Accept the game for what it is and how it’s built or just play something different maybe?
Good idea, however, if the last 15 years are any indication we won’t see anything regarding structural PvP changes. They don’t care about PvP, they barely care about M+ and raids are the only thing a PvE-lord like Celestion tries to make fun.
ALL of these shuffle issues were predicted LONG before its implementation. Whaazz called it all out S1 of DF on steam multiple times. The issues were known and easily understood. The people with the power to change shuffle simply don’t care.

You didn’t find the challenge fun? I haven’t done ky yet but the other two were alright. Didn’t like underpin as much as the fight felt a bit RNG.
Sorta and sorta not. I’m asking for a different reward structure but to go back to a better social structure. You and I have different views on what we think is important for the game.
I do from time to time. Usually more due to RL circumstances than my views on wow. I am enjoying wow right now. I’m mostly here trying to figure out how to get more people into PvP so that blizz keeps spending money on us. I don’t mind shuffle. I prefer 3s. I also don’t play for rewards so even though I get most rewards I’m kinda okay just letting everyone have them if they play PvP.
Basically we just disagree on what we think is good for wow PvP. Ultimately nobody knows. Blizz sure doesn’t or they’d have done it by now. Shuff didn’t save PvP but I also don’t think going back to wrath will save it. I’m just hypothesizing what will get others to play. I’m already playing.

challenging yes not fun I almost vomited from how stiff I was all day trying to get it without breaks. It wasn’t the least bit of fun. Every phase is an instant death if you don’t have op reactions skill eye hand coordination and a final phase that literally induces migraines. I wondered if devs themselves were able to finish this fight themselves when they designed it.
Feel like when people say shuffle is better than 3s it’s just fried from a gameplay point of view. Only way shuffle is better is the fact that you can log on and hit queue. Games feel far worse imo
Pretty much I enjoy my experience as a shuffle player better than a 3’s player overall. If in 3’s you could find a team anytime you logged on, at the exact skill level you are at and play against a diverse range of comps, while also playing any spec you want. the 3’s experience would be better. But since that almost never happens unless you are a decade long player with plenty of bnets, then the 3’s experience is not as good for the majority of players

This would be fine if every bracket was healthy… Not every bracket is in a healthy position across various levels of skill.
Sure. Maybe a carrot will entice some people but a reward in a dead mode runs the risk of being just a dead reward.
Sometimes the path of least resistance is actually path you should take, especially when it comes to recreation and having fun. This is a video game meant for recreation. Not every recreational activity has to be a blood sweat and tears grind.
This is kinda blind to say man… Shuffle is better if you’re an off meta spec (faster ques and no need trying to make a comp with it), and every game is chaos and adapting to that chaos. Shuffle has some pros.
To pretend that shuffle has zero value is silly. I do think that you can achieve similar things can be achieved though by putting the solo/duo/trio que all together.
Why are we acting like encouragement to group and meet people in a social game is bad again
I get that everybody just wants their easy rewards so they can quit but could they at least pretend to play games for fun
is LFG or harassing ppl to do 3s with my main character the only worthwhile place to meet and group in an mmo?
maybe I want to just have a chill chat with people while im in queue for shuffle and play my offmeta spec or an alt I want to mess around on?
Maybe I want to queue blitz and RP as a Stormwind Guard or tavern drunk with my friends who don’t pvp while I wait for a pop
Maybe I want to just group up and gank people in warmode and run around with a bunch of bounties and do rated another time.
