Solo shuffle is really unhealthy for this game

y’all too funny

Just helping people interpret the misleading data.

Just an out of touch comment. I know a lot of people who PvP but don’t take it as seriously as me or him, and he’s just being disrespectful towards people who aren’t as dedicated.

They identified every issue with it from the start but still listened to us against their better judgment. Who’s to blame? The kid asking for candy for dinner or the parent that gives it to them? :person_shrugging:

I like shuffle, I’d like my spec to suck so that I can get fast queues, but my spec is good so bleh. It’s just enjoyable to log on, queue, work on homework, then get into a game.

Yea, pretty much how games are played in 2025. You don’t see a lot of people advocating that shuffle sucks and only 3s should exist that havent been playing wow for 10+ years.

Why are we making stuff up again

The issue is just that low-mid 2s and 3s are depopulated because shuffle offers all the same rewards with a fraction the effort (both because the mode is easier and there’s fewer social and logistical barriers).

Solo effectively replacing premade brackets has specifically made it harder for anybody who isn’t already glad+ with a btag full of people to queue with.

Making it harder for your fellow man to get into 2s or 3s :dracthyr_hehe: Crabs in a bucket

I agree with your take that shuffle and blitz don’t need the inflation.

According to both Seramate and Drustvar in EU there were around 113 rounds of 3 v 3 played in the past 3 hours and 4835 shuffle rounds played… Numbers like that paint a pretty objective picture. Does it hurt the 3s bracket? Yes, of course. Does the majority of the PvP playerbase prefer shuffle? Pretty obvious answer here… Reward structure does not account for such a HUGE difference in numbers.

Sure it does. Why put together a group and lose at 1900 when you could shuffle and be 2300-2500? :dracthyr_love_animated: Funny pool of low-mid rated players with big egos.

Part of the reason why it’s easier to earn rating in shuffle is because shuffle is more accessible to begin with which makes it more popular. More popular means more rating going around.

When I joined rated PvP with shuffle in Dragonflight, I didn’t know it had inflated rating. I just liked playing and queuing shuffle.

Sure some of the reason why it’s more popular is bc it’s easier to get rating but it doesn’t account for all of the popularity.

Oh man it’s typing

Ah jeez four of them are typing I’m about to get it

Crazy how many times an individual has to be told participation improves inflation.

You’re Delusional mate.

Just telling it like it is.

Keepin’ it real, as the kids say.

Not that this is why you’d play with friends in the first place, but there’s something a little sad about playing with friends on a coordinated 3s team and knowing that those rewards are more easily attained by playing without them.

It seems almost antithetical to wow’s nature as a multiplayer game that wants you to bring your friends and overcome challenges with them.

Nah, you’re out of touch.

Shadowlands didn’t have 5000 3’s rounds in a 3 hour window per region

Keeping it real would be acknowledging shuffle is popular not just due to the reward structure

Bingo. Everything is stacked against the non-solo modes.

Lol. Lmao.
