This is called deflecting. You don’t even believe that I have no experience. It’s just a pointless stalling tactic people use when they aren’t confident in their own position. If I prove that I have the experience I have it will change nothing about anything you say; you won’t concede or consider anything more than you are now. It has no impact on the discussion except for you to use as a cowardly, rhetorical safety blanket.
But hey, go off queen. If it doesn’t embarrass you to be that spineless who am I to take that way from you? Just lemme know if that changes.
If youre getting even rounds then youre doing the same tthing as the other healer and shouldnt get + cr. If youre squeaking out your 4/2 or better then you go up. With a big enough sample size, it works great imo. If you beat the guy thats smashing everyone in your group or win with the weak guy, then it was you that did it right and deserve improved mmr/cr. If the guy smashing just gos 6 wins he gets the cr and healers go even, im fine with that. If there is a weak guy and everyone gets cr/mmr off him but the healers, that is ok too cuz he drops out of your bracket to be replaced. It works out great with large enough sample size. At some point, you have to be the strong one to gain cr. If youre going 3/3 virtually every round then youre at the cr/mmr you should be at. No other way to say it.
It only takes 1 mistake from a healer to make it 4-2. If dps make a mistake its the healer who carries them and the dps is left unpunished, yet if a healer makes a mistake they get punished.
Healers need to stop queing until a better rating system is in place.
u obviously have never played above 2100 mmr as a healer in solo shuffle u will almost never run into a another bot healer and it is almost always 3-3 unless ur not playing a rdruid/evoker cause everything else goes oom incredibly fast
The issue is it’s still too easy for healers to lose points at 4 wins or get -50 or more for getting 3 wins.
Just look at the ratio of 2700 dps to healers right now.
At the very top the ability for a healer compared to a dps to maintain their rating isn’t even on the same planet due to the structure and matchmaking.
I get 4-2 pretty regularly above 2.1. Just saying. The problem now is the mmr system is jacked, I was in a game with average mmr of 2500 and other healer was same cr as me. I won 4 and got 0 rating.
ive found it much much harder to gain rating as a healer for this reason mentioned above. There is always that 1 dead weight or that one ‘target’ that everyone goes for. It doesn’t take long for everyone to realise the weakest link and they tunnel vision them.
Rsham healer pov: frost mage in the game tries his hardest to die every round, double shimmers into enemy team and frost walls himself off from his own team. You, as the rsham, go 3-3 with enemy healer who has whispered you already confirming that you are both victims.
Don’t forget about the games keeping 2 dps alive for eternity while they pump into separate targets, barely use defensives and you end up outplaying the other healer 2-3x but still lose because of your bad dps
So if I’m 3k+ shadowlands xp on 2 different healers but majority of the time i go 3-3 with people less experienced does that mean I just got boosted and has nothing to do with the the guy that goes 0-6? I’m at the mmr I was destined to be at?
Yes. There are not 3k+ healers going 3/3 at lower mmr every game. There are rarely games where someone gos 0-6 after a certain mmr also. Usually its a dps going 6-0 if anything.
Most likely if you were a 3k healer in organized 3s, you got that from skills that arent translating over to solo shuffle. Like reliance on teammates callouts or directing teams well with your voice. It’s also possible that you were great at the social aspect and got to play with players better than you. Solo shuffle is fried with no omnicd available too but yeah, its not the same as 3v3.
There are low rated 3v3 players who are good and cant find people to play with, their skills are showing in solo shuffles. Or people that are much better at seeing cd usage that dont need healer directions being communicated constantly. People that were really good at no voicing are doing just fine in shuffles. I did no voice like 80% of slands and got 2.8 with no voice and im not experiencing the 3/3 every game. Just my anecdotal personal xp so far.
Thank u for the very valuable information i will continue to try my best to not go 3-3 a majority of my games at 23-2400 mmr in shuffle. I now understand this is a personal issue and has nothing to do with healing having very little to do with the outcome of the games, as well as someone going 0-6.
Btw the way if youre around 2400cr then youre in the r1 range from what I can tell, prob close to equivalent of 3k seasons in the past. I also think the mmr/cr system is bugged currently. I assume what will happen is when your cr stabilizes and the system is fixed. youll probably go 3/3 in like 4 out of 5 games then if you go up youll get cr off those season where you get 4+ wins. If you get 2 or less then youll go down.
Use some common sense please.
There’s 4 dps-es and 2 healers so odds of having the worse player will always be way higher to get a bad DPS.
Especially if you as a healer count urself out.
