There is a known bug but no one knows exactly how to pinpoint it with solo ques. So I have done a lot of playing around with people at my same MMR as we que together. The avg que can be 10 mins and you can get a que at 2-12 mins if there is no bug. However, sometimes the que bugs and you can be in que for 45mins to over an hour while someone at the same mmr gets 3+ ques.
I noticed the glitch procs sometimes when I get a que and someone doesn’t accept. It claims you return to the front of que and I believe it may do that once or twice but afterwards I will remain in que for 30 mins plus.
However, the glitch can also randomly proc, so people have been leaving que after being in it 5 mins passed the avg time and re-queing. This gets you close to an instant ques (2-5 mins) even if the avg is 10-15mins.
As stated before, I’m not exactly sure how to pinpoint the glitch since I do not code and I’m sure it’s complex, but it is probably the biggest drawback of solo shuffles since the leaving fix.
