Well, I’m with you here. I roll my eyes at the parse culture. I’m 100% okay with AOTC in a given patch cycle and KSM.

Raids/dungeons/PvP have never been a part of my endgame, so no, I don’t feel left out.
Shadowlands 9.0/9.1 was so slow and overrun with timesinks that I burned out in both patches and had to take breaks, but so far, ZM gear/anima is giving me a gameplay loop/path that works for me. I recently finished(*) leveling my alts and am right now gathering the last 50,000 anima I need to finish giving everyone 226 greens. Other than that I’m focused on gathering a quota of anima on each alt each week to keep their mission tables fed while I make slow progress on cyphers/gear/unlocking 9.0 covenant upgrades.
I want to eventually take a break from ZM and do some other “late expansion wandering” in both Shadowlands and legacy content. I don’t think I’ve going to look back fondly on Shadowlands (though not all the reasons why are the fault of the game), but I’ve been able to salvage some fun in the end.
On the community side … I have to admit that the anti-solo zealots, whether they are just trolls or honestly believe what they say, do wear me down and make me reluctant to try to socialize in the game (beyond my forum ramblings). It’s not like anything has really changed in MMOs from 5 or 10 (or even 25) years ago … I just keep having moments of optimism that then run into a 3000-post wall of people trying to make each other unwelcome. But … well … c’est la vie.

I’ve been on low levels more than my max ones in SL. I just find more fun that way this xpac.

You just don’t like the fact that solo players can have options.
I used to be gud and had enough compliments to last into the next life. I’ve met too many chasing the scores so other ppl think highly of them or w/e. So sad. Lame mentality.
There is so much bad in this world. Don’t we all log on to have fun, no matter what that is to you? Game should cater to all. It clearly needs an intervention bc so many have left.

After 17 years of solo play I have not made
peace with the latest Eternity’s End patch to want to play it. I have played solo since 2004 except for a small stint in the Original BC and Lich King. I went back to soloing because I felt less anxiety of having to perform in a group setting. I PVP, Do my Dalies, and what ever it is that I do, and am happy just to be in an imaginary World with no self induced pressure. I cannot wait till The New Xpac is taking money in advance, I look forward to going back to WOW when it looked like WoW of old. Otherwise I’m just happy to be playing. NO~ I don’t feel left out of End Game content and it’s constant drama and the anxious feeling I get, which prevents me from having fun~

I pretty much just play retail to buy wow tokens to pay for my classic wow and future expansions. I level my characters gear them to a point that it isn’t painful to do things and then do callings and the mission tables.
I feel like if I wanted to get into raids or M+ I could but I don’t really have any desire too. I miss old raids being good gold farms though. it is funny that your going to give me a calling that I can do 5 times each day for close to 10k gold why would gold from old raids be an issue

They effectively are since there was no tier in BFA.
I.E. corruption might not be tier, but they are the borrowed power that took the place of tier for that raid.
Yet they arent. Sorry you cant handle that.
