Thinking about getting the new expansion and making a return, but I mostly play solo. I have limited time, so I won’t be joining a guild or manually forming groups. I’ll only be doing LFR and LFG content.
Given that, is the expansion worth getting? Will I still be able to obtain near top-level gear?
No.
You will be doing Delves. (OK, you can do some LFx stuff if you want to, as well.)
Delves are solo, or you can take a party of up to 5 people. But mostly solo.
Delves deliver Normal raid level gear pretty fast, and Heroic level raid gear when you feed them with upgrade tokens.
