So the fact is that on follower dungeons the followers give you a bit of space, but on delves Brann is always right where you need to click. This indicates that it is by design, Why ?

seriously always approach everything from a bit to the right, but this is a major PIA and has always been with NPCs…

I have been using the interact key since it was released and had no problems.
Until the NPCs for some WQs drive jobs refuse to give credit from the interact key and only work when clicked.
I believe that the only reason Brann is always in the way is to force you to use the interact key. He gets quite annoying at times.
It’s a bit aggravating, walk up to a curio on the left, he stands on top of it. Let’s try the right, I want to kill you lil dwarf…

what is the interact key? 20 years and I never found it…
Mine is set to F. Can’t remember if that is the default or not. You can look it up in your keybindings.
You can have the game show an icon above items you can interact with in the Settings as well.
You’ll find me standing on anything and everything you are trying to loot !!!
I believe F is the default key for assisting your target/switching your target to your target’s target.
But yeah, just search “interact” and it’ll pop up and let you set whatever key you like for it. I don’t recall it having a default key at all and had to set it up myself before I could use it.
The best trick I use to get around Brann is to tilt the camera angle up so you’re looking down. It’s a pain, but it does work.
It’s either that, or just wait until he gets bored and goes to lean against the nearest wall!

The F key is not a solution as many/most of the things you need to click on are not targetable, Blizz should change his name to Brann Brownbeard since he spends so much time with his head where it shouldn’t be.

Honestly no idea why, but yes Brann is as annoying as possible by design. No other follower or pet in the game is as constantly dumb and frustrating as Brann. Brann is the main reason I do as few delves as possible. Just get my free gilded at the start of the week and then ignore them.
I have never had this problem. I’m not even sure it is a problem.
If it wasn’t Brann in the way, it would be one of my pets. Clicking little things on the ground has always been my bane with a pack of hit boxes around me.
I’m not wild about having to use the interact key so much these days, but it works (more or less) so I guess it’s the path forward and I just need to get used to.

It kinda is, since you can use it even with non-targetable obejcts, like the mislaid stuff in delves.
For eveything else, there is the “interact with the mouseover” (sic) binding.
Funny I dont have this problem too much, Brann is never in the way as I’m a chronic tab targeter. The only think I slow down for is the epic egg to make sure it hatches.
Brann’s been all right this season and throws the healing pots where they need to go. No complaints here.
Same. And I thought BM Hunter was bad … and then I leveled a Demonology Warlock. x_x
Now I have Brann, my Felguard, and a Hellementary school of imp children to contend with.
