I think that this would be really nice… queues would be fast and it would be really fun. Im also sure that would be more players playing that then the current solo shuffle mode.
I know that probably many ppl would say: “Many specs would not work fine in this bracket”. And in my opinion that’s ok, because there are many specs that dont work fine in some brackets and specs that just doesnt work fine in nothing.
Being honest, I cant think in many specs that would not work well. If it was in the last xpac I would say that warrios wouldnt work, but right now they would be a beast. Take fury as example, for those who played skirmishes, u know how hard is to deal with fury warrior.
What u all think about that? I think it would be nice. Low time queues, fast game time and fun to play.
P.S.: I dont know if it would work like a shuffle (playing 1 time with everyone in the match) or like the normal rated arenas (single round). That’s something to decide later.
P.S.2.: I think the same thing should be done with RBGs, I love BGs, probably more then arenas, and its really nice to make a group WHEN U HAVE TIME FOR THAT, but its not fun when u dont have time enoght and because of that cant play…
I get ur point, but I got a ret pally, and he need that to survive… Fury warriors and shamans, heals way more then rets and dont need to chose between deal damage or healing, ret does.
Maybe it would need some adjustment, but I think it would work well right now, almost every class has it own way to survive.
If they ever did this and made all the same rewards available there then they might as well just scrap the whole idea of rated solo shuffle and go back to making it unrated like it was in Shadowlands
I’m no PvP expert, but there are these massive openers some classes have. Mitigating them would be super important as the matches would be over in seconds otherwise
I think the only reason rated solo shuffle exists in its current form is because it was the most fair way to do solo queue arena that they could come up with.
If they’re going to add more unfairness into it (like by making a 2v2 and dps only option, which is going to disproportionately benefit classes like rogues, etc.) then they might as well just make it unrated again
Unrated solo shuffle wasn’t that bad; I thought it was more fun than healing at low MMR in RSS, which is just miserable
