I had just logged back in on this character and found a couple solid gold coins. what items did they take from me and turn into a single gold coin item. Is there a way to get them back? I have a feeling it was my pvp shield and pants
could have been honor points if you havn’t logged on since WoD

they gave me an item worth 1g for all the honor i had? Also I used to have an item that could transform myself into a furbolg with no cd. you could be a furbolg all you wanted. they turned that into one of these “solid gold coins” also. I’m really angry over this

I didn’t look them. They were items that blizzard turned into a “solid gold coin” It’s complete BS that they can just take away hard earned items from people like this.
Dartol’s Rod of Transformation should still be in your bags unless you faction transferred or deleted it yourself. I still have a few of them myself, on various alts.
Reading up on the Solid Gold Coin, it seems you get these when you faction transfer, in the place of faction specific quest starting items. Perhaps you had a quest starting item in your bags for a quest that simply no longer exists anymore and received a Coin in place of that.
I’m not quite sure what happened to your pants, but I’m fairly certain they were not removed for a Coin.

If he did do a faction change, does every faction-specific PvP item have an opposite-faction counterpart?
(It would also probably help if we knew how long it had been since he last logged in)
That set he is wearing does, I think. It has pants, at the least.
It would go from the golden and flashy Field Marshal’s Aegis to the not-flashy black and red Warlord’s Aegis.
I quit a month into cataclysm and came back during legion. All the pvp rank 14 gear was gone and i was level 80 instead of 85. I retained the title and if you do for your rank you can buy it again at area 52. Also tier 1 through 3 were gone from the bank after the absence.

As for the pants, I guess he had a dalliance while you were offline. Or, considering the pièce d’or, was he perched atop a mailbox when you logged back on?
