Hoping someone can help me. I’m missing one questline on Sojourner of the Azure Span called “Grimtusk Hideaway.”
According to Wowhead, I’ve completed the quests below:
- No Vengeance on an Empty Stomach - Quest start from Old Grimtusk 58.78 34.88. Fish 3 Frozen Tail Darter in pool next to NPC.
2a. A Far Furbolg Friend - Go to speak with Barst 1.19 39.22 ( follow to quest 7 and 8 )
2b. All Brawn, No Brains - Go to 21.09 35.14 and speak with Varsek. ( follow to quest 5 and 6 )
2c. Grimtusk’s Sister - Go to speak with Naluki is in house 12.80 49.35 ( follow for Quest 9 )
- Elementary, My Dear Drakonid - Follow NPC then speak with crystal then go like 3 circles Pattern on the ground.
- Varsek Recruited - Fly Back to Old Grimtusk 58.78 34.88.
- A Little Kelp for My Friends - Slay Wild Kelp Elemental is in cave 0.48 38.92
- Barst Recruited - Fly Back to Old Grimtusk 58.78 34.88.
- Naluki’s Letter - Fly Back to Old Grimtusk 58.78 34.88.
- Loose Ends - Go to 58.95 44.25 and after long conversation slay Frostbite. After this Quest storyline will finish.
When I go to Frostbite’s cage he’s not there. I’m assuming I killed him but I can’t confirm that. I’ve gone to Old Grimtusk and he’s not offering anything. I’m not sure what to do next.
If you have any ideas for me, I’m all ears.

If you’ve come here because the boss isn’t spawning and the friendly NPCs have disappeared, but your quests still says you haven’t killed Frostbite, you will have to abandon and pick up the quest again . I waited here 10 minutes before abandoning the quest and picking it up again, and as soon as I got there and clicked the fire, Frostbite spawned.

As far as I’m aware there isn’t anything to abandon. The only quest I have in my log for the Azure span is: [Fishing: Aileron Seamoth]

I’ve checked your quests, and you’ve completed Naluki’s Letter in the chain but not the final quest, Loose Ends.
Is the Loose Ends quest not in your journal? If so, maybe try picking it up from the NPC. If it is in your journal, abandon it and pick it up again from Old Grimtusk.

Where are you seeing that? When I mouse over the comment, Wowhead is telling me I’ve completed it:
When I check your completion on questchecker (separate website forums won’t let me link) it says you haven’t completed it. Probably worth a check in any case.
Something else to note regarding Loose Ends availability, someone on Wowhead also mentioned this:
You have to complete both Barsk and Varsek before this quest becomes available.
Yeah I flew out to Barsk’s island and he wasn’t there. I don’t have “Loose ends” in any part of my log, and this whole thing is just so frustrating.

Have you tried confirming that you’ve done this to make Loose Ends show up?
You have to complete both Barsk and Varsek before this quest becomes available.

Apparently I did need to recruit Varsek. Taking it from here but I’ll have to report to Wowhead their bug. Thanks again, Ace.
