So..is anyone else having a hard time getting in Gnomer raids?

Especially Melee. Can’t even get into a group and tried forming one but that failed.

Also, before anyone says “JuSt JoIn A gUiLd” it wouldn’t solve the issue with melee heavy comps. These raids are 10 man and most guilds have the core already set up. A melee heavy raid is destined to fail.

So, what is the solution? I’d love to see a blizz response even though I know it wont happen. Something needs to change because a lot of people are going to quit this game til next phase or until the raid becomes melee friendly.

Reroll or Be Patient.

Why should someone have to wait an unknown amount of time? Why should someone have to reroll to play the game? Isn’t that a problem?

It is and I agree.

But given the latest Class Tuning, Blizz obviously think you’re fine.

blizzard effed it up making a 10man with melee being screwed…25 or nothing with all the specs

It does look tough for some melee, but that’s just how it is for popular dps classes.

I was a dps most of my wow life, now happy to be a healer. Never struggle to find a group as a healer(just soloing and pvp kinda sucks though)

I agree. Should have been 25 man, 20 at the least.

I just want to play the game with my friend (rogue) but its brutal atm to get into raids. I even offered to OT and I still get ignored, lol.

10mans are so anti-guild…like why even play a mmo

Play a healer and you’ll have your pick of groups.

I’m well aware that healers are a hot commodity atm but people shouldn’t have to drop their mains to play another class to experience new gameplay.

I agree but your issues have been the norm in WOW since the beginning. DPS are always the easiest to find and melee DPS are the easiest DPS to find. Raids always want more ranged because most mechanics are designed to be handled by ranged.

As a melee DPS you should really be looking for a Guild if you want a set Raid spot.

The Norm? Raids back in the day were 40 man. You could always find a group if you were a good parsing player.

This version of WoW, SoD has made this new raid unfriendly to melee and that shouldn’t be a thing. Saw a 99 parsing rogue spam for a group for 2 hours in LFG/Trade and he never got a group. That’s a huge problem. Id even say the same thing if the roles were reversed and casters couldn’t get in. People should be able to play this game, playing the classes they want to play.

Again, guilds don’t work. They have their core groups set up and since its a 10 man raid, that makes it even harder.

yeah its actually miserable as rogue atm and blizzard clearly has no idea just look at the main gauche it just needs to moved to belt slot and people will use it how hard is it. but no people think because of pvp interactions we are good but really what do we provide to the raid in PvE apart from mediocre DPS and average tanking? Who asked for tank rogue anyway?

Its okay. Warrior tanking isnt in the best spot right now, either. Not when you have a shaman that can rip threat on everything with ease.

Form your own raids.

He should have spent that time prepping to lead his own raid and then spammed Looking for More.

Ten person raids aren’t that difficult to manage.

There is a ridiculous infestation of warriors and rogues is why. Its not even a healer shortage as people like to put it

Most people who leveled from phase 1 leveled with their raid group/guilds, there aren’t many pug alts yet and if you haven’t found a raid group to stick with by phase 2, people may think there’s a reason and be biased against you, just some points.
