If you’re determined to drink this stuff, at least treat yourself to something special for launch day. If you can, try to avoid the standard grocery store fare and get something new!
If you want a nice cold Coke, I suggest snagging a few of the glass-bottled ones imported from Mexico. Pure cane sugar, none of the HFCS stuff. The taste is superior.
I would also say that if you haven’t yet, try a few different flavors of Jaritos brand Mexican sodas. Some of them are really incredible! I like the Tamarind, Grapefruit, and Mandarin varieties myself.
What sort of unique soft drinks do you have or want to have for Classic?
Also: drink water, sugary drinks are terrible for you.

I do love those imported ones… however, I am gonna buy my local wal-mart out of Dr. Pepper.

I like ginger ale with vodka and fresh lime. Also, you can’t go wrong with Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut champagne. Cheap, tastes great even when not cold.

How could I forget about ginger ale? I love that stuff. I never really considered adding alcohol to anything though, because while I enjoy it, it tends to award me with heartburn. I wish I could have a simple rum and coke or even a long island but the pain just isn’t worth it.
I hear Remand, I used to be a big drinker - had acid issues, but you just gotta alkalize yourself. Eat more apples, bananas, spinach, kale, cherries, cauliflower, and pineapple. You could also be hardcore and drink a shot of apple cider vinegar every day hehe. There’s always prilosec sort of stuff too, but that’s you’re doc’s call.

I actually have bottle of Pasqua Amarone Della Valpolicella 2015 that I’ll be opening on launch night. I can’t have dairy but I’m sure I’ll be enjoying it with some kind of anti pasta. Likely options will be marinated artichoke hearts in lemon and parsley, figs or dates, age dried Italian salami and hams and of course a variety of olives. I’m not a big soda drinker…I will likely have some Aldi brand Lemon sparkling water and I will make some fresh mint lemonade for my fridge (so I can limit the sugar content of it). I don’t want to fall asleep from too much carb so the sugars will be limited to the wine and figs/dates.
i just set up a cherry coke zero iv. delicious bubbles, the cherry masks the diet soda taste, zero calories.

Protein Shakes by day, beer by night.
Shake Recipe:
Whole milk + a splash of orange juice
large scoop of chocolate whey protein
large scoop of carb mix (whole grain rye flour + whole grain buckwheat flour)
This is all assuming you are taking a 1.5 hour break from WoW to lift weights 3-4 days a week, and you’re eating calorie dense, but healthy food.
Barbell Hack Squats
Back Squats
Dips
Pullups
One or two bottled Leinenkugel Honey Weise beers in the evening relaxes those tense muscles, and tastes great.

Buckfast, really? You’re hardcore. Then again, you just made me think that a bit of Jager would be nice to sip to take the edge off the chaos that will be the starting zones.
I’m a fan of tonic water with lime so I’ll probably be doing that.
Think Smart Water, Essentia or the like.
Keep you hydrated better as less BR breaks that can interrupt screen time.
There is a local craft soda brand that has a Caramelized Banana flavor. I’m going to get some of those for sure, though I can’t drink as much full sugar drinks as I used to, so I’ll probably ‘balance’ that with some Bubbly or just boring water.
Monster and redbull got me realm first bloodelf for wotlk. We will try again.
Captain Morgan and Ginger Ale on ice… tastes like cream soda and strong.
