DMF Torment trinket does not proc from dot applications, which makes the trinket almost completely useless. You don’t really use mind spike in pvp, also shadow: word death is situational and not really used in middle of the fight unless you wanna take damage… Making Torment trinket (in my opinion) completely useless for shadow priests in pvp.

Why do you need this trinket to work with dots?
You’ll just SWP>VP>Death then run away like every other shadow priest does.

priests don’t need it to be strong…having said that, the trinket is amazing on rogue.
the dps Darkmoon trinkets seem to be made for melee for ranged the procs are too few and dps gained is so low they are useless. the decay card accounted for 5 dps for me in sunken temple… please fix this so they proc from dots and provide a noticeable benefit. these items are incredibly hard to obtain and dont reflect the time investment. also scaling with player spell power would be awesome.

Its working as intended. Melee always scale better than ranged/casters.
better is one thing having it be practically useless is another. im not requesting it do 20% of my damage or something but 5 dps is laughable.
Because casters are completely useless in pve. You stack melee in vanilla wow because only melee are useful.
by that logic we should just eliminate all caster classes… or maybe balance it properly.
Casters are for pvp. Melee are for pve.

Because it worked with dots on release, then blizzard hotfixed it and screwed over every priest who had purchased it.
The beauty is that’s just old school classic wow, in sod they have the power and technology to turn that around, will they though is another question 
. But also with a damage reduction coming to pvp dawns the era of the MS war, enhance, hunter!
If you bought it prior to the release hotfix, you probably buy gold - so I have no sympathy.

The cards were at their cheapest the first week of p3 lmao. I got decay for 700g.
i built this last week and foolishly thought no reason why it wouldn’t work like blackout! blackout works for void zone and all sorts of things including instant dot applications.
now totally wasted that gold, to be fair at least it wasn’t that much, I got a good deal on few cards I was missing, but its still a good 350-400g I’m out now because I thought it would be a fun pvp trinket.
