Whats going to happen when sod ends? They just delete realms and characters? They dont plan on making a lot more content right?
They already said they’re not deleting our characters. There will be a Scarlet Raid phase after Naxx. Nobody knows for sure whether or not new content ends after that. I think its pretty much guaranteed that Crusader Strike will become the permanent “SoD Era” realm though at some point.
I figured they would just leave a couple servers up and leave it to die, eventually.
Now that Khara Crypts went so well, and if Scarlet Raid goes well, I wonder if they leave SoD as the test realm for new game design concepts they are thinking about in other game modes. Almost like a quasi PTR realm.
