SoD Warrior changes to help with scaling fear

Going to go ahead and bring my ideas for warrior rune/ability changes that will help with our infinite scaling, but still allow us to be enjoyable and worth bringing to raid.

% damage runes

Single minded fury- change the 10% damage increase while dual wielding to “while dual wielding Whirlwind hits with both weapons. On ability use have a 5-10% chance to attack with your offhand at 25-50% off the abilities damage” This will also allow more hit on gear to be worth it for warriors past the cap for main hand of 6%

Flagellation- instead of 25% increased physical damage after using berserker rage or blood rage have “rend now scales with attack power” using the WotLK version of rend

Consumed by Rage- should be removed. Replace it with “Rampage- after reaching 80 rage you become enraged allowing you to let out a flurry of blows. Costs 80 rage. Only usable while dual wielding”

Wrecking Crew- Replaces the talent “Enrage” which makes it from getting hit by a crit to proccing when you crit

Since fury does not have a helmet rune that is viable.
“Rage Control- you have mastered controlling your rage. Rend and Overpower are usable in Berserker Stance”

Cooldown fixes
With short fights in SoD when warriors at the top end of performers have Recklessness up they can have that AND Death Wish up the entire fight because of their kill times. Solution in reworking Recklessness

Recklessness- gain 100% increased critical strike chance on your next 5 rage spending abilities Lasts 20 seconds. 5 minute cooldown.

These are what I have come up with so far on how to change warriors and still make them viable and fun. Let me know what you guys think and if there is anything that can be tweaked.

Flagellation was the wrong move if they are worried about scaling.

I think every single warrior wanted more utlity / class functionality in SoD.

Something for PvP; somethin for sustained surviability. The datamined Meathook would of been awesome.

I just wanted Blood and Thunder and MoP’s version of Second Wind.

Something approximating the WotLK version of the 30 min cds needs to happen.

Second wind is an easy no brainer that doesn’t help pve and greatly helps the class’ pvp struggles.

Rend, thunderclap and revenge need to scale.

Blood and thunder would be amazing but they won’t do it because of the claims they don’t want easy aoe agro even though other classes get easy aoe agro.

Whoever thought up giving the TBC version of rampage is bad and should feel bad. Better to scrap this mess and start over.

Giving must pick % damage modifier runes then blaming the vanilla rage mechanic on scaling is bad and those that do that should feel bad.

I agree 100%. If they are worried about scaling why do they keep giving us % based runes?
