SOD sounds like a messy unbalanced rpg which is exactly what makes vanilla so good. Its just going to be messy in a different way. Mage healers and lock tanks is exactly the type of game play deep rpgs like Baldurs Gate have. Blizz is going deeper into the customization of classes and I’m all for that and any old school rpg fan should be as well. Its moving toward its rpg roots instead of away from it like the retail expansions have done.

Sounds like it will be intereseting for about 1 week…then be terrible for months and months.

Tbh im excited to alt many classes and theory craft like its an ARPG. The cap being 25 assuming its the same xp as before means you can get an alt to max in a day off or 2
