[SoD] Scarab Brooch not working with mage healing

Using the Scarab Brooch trinket does not apply shields to healed targets when using any kind of mage healing.

  1. Be a mage
  2. Equip Runes: Mass Regeneration, Regeneration, Chronostatic Preservation, Rewind Time, etc.
  3. Equip Scarab Brooch trinket: https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=21625/scarab-brooch
  4. Use Scarab Brooch trinket.
  5. Do healing: Mass Regen + damage enemy target, cast Chronostatic Preservation on any ally, etc. Shield effect is not applied.

Please help I won Scarab Brooch from the AQ raid and it adds no benefits to my healing when I activate the trinket.
