hi! i was hoping someone could give me kind a tldr on the ret rotation with 6 pc tier 1? wowheads is very confusing and i notice some rets i watch on streams dont even bother seal twisting. what does an opener look like for ret atm?
With the 6pc t1, its more of a matter of keeping those seals up
If youre using a fast weapon like RAC of Typhoon, you still want to open by applying seal of light/wisdom(since those auto-apply Seal of the Crusader), auto once then immediately exorcism to get the CD rolling. Apply SoM and SoR, then immediately dump cstrike and divine storm. Exorcism takes prio, all other abilities serve the singular purpose of lowering Exo cd through crits. SoR crits will proc art of war, so get ready to mash Exo a lot. If you want to double judge frequently, dont refresh that second seal until youre at least 2-3 seconds into your judgement cooldown
thanks! what if im using a slower weapon? i guess im kinda confused on like pre boss pull and after i judge both seals do i just go back into martyrdom command then auto attack into divine storm?
If youre using a slower weapon(like the ugraded arcanite reaver, spinal reaper, hand of rag, or oeb) youll be using SoM and SoC(seal of command) instead of SoM and SoR. The beginning of the fight is ALWAYS going to be you applying the seal of the crusader and seap of wisdom(or light) debuffs. Once you have those debuffs on the boss, the only seals youll be touching is SoM and SoC. Cstrike and Dstorm should be mashed as soon as theyre off cooldown.
