So, some ppl want 10 mans some 20 and some 40.
Everyone can agree that 10 man is easier to set up. Almost everyone can agree 40 man feels epic. And 20 man could be a good in between.
What if, classic 40 man become 20, 20 become 10, but single boss raid like onyxia stay 40?

I’m hoping for a simple conversion of all 40 man raids to 20, and all 20 man raids to 10. When I suggested this during my guild’s last ST run, everyone nominated me to be president of WoW.

They will never do 40 mans in sod, especially starting with 10 and upping it to 20, many guilds were off put searching for more. Doubling that while players are already in formed guilds would be a nightmare
how about just keep it all the same… this is not a part of classic that requires changes 
be happy you got 20 man MC, its loot will be super OP for sure.

MC and ONY will be 20 man, the instances that were 10 man in BWL/Ubers will probably stay 10 mans since they were just dungeons essentially. ZG will probably be 20 mans. AQ40/Naxx will probably stay 40 mans.
New raid content that they kept teasing will probably be 20 mans if not one 20 or one 40.
Devs have already confirmed in several dev interviews that they really don’t want to get rid of the feel of 40 mans. Also, if people read the devs twitter messages you can kind of tell that some instances are just not really designed to be balanced around smaller raid sizes anyway.
more people doesn’t mean epic that’s a moronic statement. An epic by definition is a story so its the scene/setting/boss/story that makes somthing “epic”. clowns who want 40 mans have never setup/raid lead in their lifes and just show up.
classic players also played 20 years ago to start with and then played again during covid… its almost like people had more time and gaming was a different landscape at that point…also you dont even play SoD why are you here commenting.
My thought is that we have at least 1 10-player raid each phase, and have some 20 and 40 man raids. However, the raids would drop the same ilevel gear (not the same gear, just same ilevel). Each spec would have their bis pieces spread across all raid sizes for the tier (such that a toon could get fully geared doing just one raid size, but the gear would not be their bis).
E.g. we might have
P1: Molten Core 20, Onyxia’s Lair 40, New Raid 10 (my guess would be Scholomance)
P2: BWL 20, ZG 20, New Raid 10 (Potentially Dire Maul here)
P3: AQ40, AQ20, New Raid 10 (Kharazan Crypts maybe)
P4: Naxx20, New Raid 10 (Maybe something in Caverns of Time)
P5: Remnants of the Scarlet Crusade20 (Purify that ashbringer), New raid 10 (Emerald Dream thing possibly)
P6: ?

imo we should have 10 and 20 man versions of the same raid. ive seen alot of players want both and realized that alot of the people who want 10 mans are more casual and dont want to hard of content. so i purpose this. we have both sizes, 10 mans will be easier and 20mans will be harder with changes in raid gear.

then what makes something epic and not a cluster f? epic is an experience period. not the amount of people there.
We’ll get 1 more new raid at best, and it will be after Naxx.
The issue with this is that if you give the same gear, then players will only do the 10 man version since it will probably be easier and faster. (Afaik this is what happened in Cata when it first came out).
MC, Oxy and ZG should be 20 man but the rest should be 40 man
