1st issue raids are based on SOM not classic what a fkin joke
2nd issue ONY super overtuned for 20 man casual guilds and the add bugs that if you wipe 2-3 times mobs hyper spawn even during boss fight theyll come in more faster we had 6 big adds up at one time
3rd MC top guilds cleared it ill raid it sunday but clearing trash with 12 people mobs kept instant respawning and randomly 1 shotting and dropping aggro nonstop i know they have aggro resets but i mean it was nonstop
4th issue ive seen on wildgrowth just no caster or range dps everyones literally a rogue,war,pally meele hunter i see no mages no warlocks on let alone the rare Shadow priest
My guild had 2 full 20 man raid teams. Now that we know its SoM raids only 8 people are interested in continuing raiding. Been in the guild since week 1. We were under the impression that it was going to be having Classic 2019 raids but with more Boss HP/DMG to compensate.
Blizzard just killed SoD for me with SoM Raids. And I’ve be praising Blizz alot for their SoD changes.
i wonder how long until all of the human male ret paladins get told to spec holy or reroll something useful if they want to come to raids lmao

casual guilds need to get better.
we’ve been hearing for years that casual does not equal bad. Prove it!
we just cleared heat 3, it took like 5 hours, it has some very specific mechanics, if you don’t have 226+ fire resistance, any non mitigated fire damage you take 1 shots you, most bosses have tons of random aoe fire damage auras and such
so if you absorb it, nothing happens (gfpp, priest shield etc)
as soon as it hits you for 5, you take like 500000 damage and die
very unique mechanic i’ve never seen before, you are forced to have fire res, there’s no option

Did they mess up pets? My Wlock Pet, specifically the Imp just vanished constantly on Ony and a lot of MC bosses.
Somewhat disappointed in Affli for raiding too. It’s just beyond awkward and weak compared to Incinerate spam. Sad. And because of how the Heat mechanics work, you can’t even use Drain Life to work around lower Fire Resist.
So even heat 2 will one shot people if they take fire damage without being at the 96 required what if everyone has the pally aura just flat 60 will they be oneshotted?
if it works the same way as 3, people with only the pally aura will get 1 shotted, i ran out of range of my totem at one point and got 1 shot with like 190 fr
appreciate the insite that wont be hard to hit 100 fire res just farmin UBRS getting the cloak off first boss with the 20 fire res enchant

Why implement resistance requirements this way, why do they constantly spit on vanilla game design even though the game is based around vanilla?
Sure Huhuran and Sapphiron need resistance but as you and healers got geared you could start taking off a few pieces.
Doing something new doesn’t mean you have to reinvent the wheel when it comes to how resistance gear has always worked in raids.

This is a skill issue. Mobs don’t randomly 1-shot unless they all target the same person at the same time, which can be handled with staggered pulls and range. Better Tanking also handles the mobs that drop aggro.

96 is like fire resist aura and mark of the wild + very minimal fire resist gear.
