For the players who love to PvP, give us rated BG’s, give us arena, give us something.
With SOD there is still a community of players who enjoy pvping and it has gotten to the point of individuals creating duel tournaments. Once you hit max rank 14 in PvP there is really nothing to work for or to play for rather than just for the fun of killing, but Queue times are long and the only game available most of the time is AB.
Introducing a way to increase gear score based on honor/ranking or creating a rating system similar to TBC for arena or rated BG’s would draw a lot of players back and keep many who are thinking about bailing staying on. Why not introduce more options for PvP rather than a dead world PvP event in one of the most popular places to level (STV)?
Give us a race to kill total game in an empty zone like Hyjal, give us arena, give us rated BG’s, do something please.
You keep posting this everyday for weeks now. Even if what you said was true, would you prefer devs who do not play the game? Why are the other devs not making the class they play more fun?
The point was not making you sad or happy, it was calling out your hypocrisy. Paladins are still OP and you are defending it just because it’s interesting for you.
You can’t make coherent arguments to defend Paladins, so you resort to answering just the cherry-picked parts without actually addressing the points being made.
That’s like saying what’s stopping PvErs from taking off all their gear and running MC instead of asking for new raids. Without incentive to do such activities, a lot of people would just rather quit than doing the dev’s job for them.
Incorrect. Only some people are going to participate in things like that. Others are just going to alt f4, myself included in the latter. I’ve kept myself playing through too many dud expansions to have anything left for self motivation.
TBH, this is just arena in general in every iteration lol. I do agree that it’d likely be broken to extreme regards, which is why I think something more casual friendly like solo shuffles would probably play better in SoD. Rated bgs would probably be fine as well.
Better to have people playing alts and rerolling than just quitting the game.
Alting is all there really is to do in the game if you’re a pvper right now.
That stuff happens, and has happened for as long as I can remember. There are carries like that for PvE too, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be releasing new raids.
The more you drive away a diverse playerbase from the game, the less life that game is going to have in it as a result. Gotta view toxic people for what they are, overly passionate WoW players. Are they obnoxious no life dregs? Absolutely, but they’re also a core base of the game.
skirms would be fine, rated arena is a huge pass. they would have to make paladins horde and shamans alliance and hire a dedicated pvp dev team, they struggle to balance pvp specs in retail as it is already, can’t imagine theyd do a good job in classic lol
