Power Word: Shield occasionally doesn’t absorb anything on Loatheb (Haven’t found an instance of it outside of Loatheb but as Loatheb is the primary use case for shield heavy builds this is somewhat hard to test). We (Spacecaramel and myself) think it might have something to do with Divine Aegis procs of zero during necrotic aura adding zero absorbs that eat the power word shield but we are not anywhere close to being sure about this.
In the first log linked below you can see a power word shield applied at 0:26:230 and then proceed to take several melee hits with no absorption, and in the 2nd log linked at 2:05:41 and again no damage is absorbed.
Okay I will apparently not be posting log links or converting them into hyperlinks as these forums do not allow the posting of links (or at least I can’t) which is insane when there is a bloody URL to hyperlink converter built into the forum.
