raising the levelcap made players no longer count in statistics. they didnt really go anywhere, we just moved the goalposts.
Wouldnt people be reaching the new level at this point even playing super casually, especially with the bonus?
We’re nearing the end of phase
we’re less than half-way through the phase, actually.
Lots of things are contributing factors…
People are probably bored with the content, some due to GDKP aren’t interested anymore, for me it’s no dual spec… I’ll eventually level up, but people don’t seem to be happy with P2 for many reasons.
even with a 100% boost, lvl 25 is substantially easier and more laid back than reaching 40. such is classic.
P2 dropped Feb 8th, and P3 is confirmed for Spring. Its also confirmed a SOD phase will run for a month but no longer than 2-3.
Its March 11th, so we may have like 3-5 more weeks perhaps?
So we’d be approaching end of phase commencement and have been in P2 for over a month
These are Character count, not PLAYER count.
This just means that the same person does not run their 5 chars through the raid as they just did not level their 5 chars to 40 yet and probably never will. These charts will only go down the higher the level goes and nothing of the population changes.
We had our raid 2 quit from the gdkp ban and other various things. They sent a msg in disc and dipped a few weeks back
If you look at all servers its currently at 56% the absolute peak. So not really bad at all. The peak of sod has comparable numbere to classic 2019.
People arent running bfd on 4 alts
Many cheaters were banned or quit in fear of the gold buying crackdowns.
God I hope not
well I mean outside of gnomer and gold farming there isnt a whole lot to do. I still like just hanging out in game with my friends and do some PvP…but unfortunately PvP is terrible right now and thats the main endgame for a lot of people. Thats kinda what you get your gear for…right. I think the terrible PvP is partly responsible for the number drop. Obviously not everyone PvP’s but the majority of people that play this game specifically for PvP arnt happy with phase 2 PvP. And outside of that…there aint much to do.
Logging into the game and seeing all the players says otherwise.
By this time SoM was a ghost town. SoD has fantastic rentention.
It’s not hard if you don’t suck at math.
People were raiding on like 5 alts at 25 because it turns out that getting to 25 is easy.
They are only raiding on 1 character at 40 because it turns out getting to 40 is not easy.
I know basic math just blew your mind.
Layering does make it harder to see acedotally, 50% raider drop phase over phase seems pretty rough
Maybe its ease of alts tho
Lots of groups also don’t log their raids, like my group. We are playing, but are not counted in that number, as i assume many more are.
With the updated 100% exp drop, what is the total difference in percentage of points required between 0-25 versus 25-40?
Perhaps a large % the population bolstered the total population with numerous alts.
Personally I had 1 BFD raider in P1, my guild lead had 3, and the average in the 10 raiders of my guild was probably about 1.5 raid toons
It’s a lot more xp required. By a lot.
Most people have 1 character or 2 max at 40. Getting to 25 was super easy.
