Try to keep it short and basic y’all.
Recently I acquired Darkmoon card Overgrowth and Blade of eternal darkness on my resto druid with hopes of having great mana regen and ultimately be a more powerful healer. Found the Overgrowth card doesn’t work as well as hoped (incompatible with efflorescence) and the Blade of eternal darkness procs 1/30 cast spells. Very disappointed. Wondering why can’t mana users be as strong and powerful as melee classes with their sandstorms etc. Why not make mana users just as strong, then you wouldn’t need to nerf the raids etc and every1 can feel like the gear they worked extra hard for was actually worth while.
Aggrend had made a point about the exact point of warriors with their rage regen being really strong with phase 4 coming they will get even better.
Rogues are also insane with their energy regen.
I understand mana needs to feel like a valuable resource but at least give us the ability improve mana regen. It just feels so underwhelming and every caster I speak to says about how much it sucks.
Please please give mana users some love in the last phases of SoD. Let them have fun with the cool new items introduced in SoD.

The SoD team seem to really hate most casters, and love melee. Phase 1 melee just blew casters away. Phase 2 they added extra armour to Gnomer bosses to reign in melee DPS a bit - but the crying was so loud they ended up backing down.
And phase 3 melee are doing double most casters damage. This is made worse by toxic world buffs boosting melee far more than they do casters.
The end result is “we’d rather you didn’t play a caster”.
It’s sad, but there’s been virtually no changes since P2… if that doesn’t tell you something. Remember when they said further buffs were coming to mages and warlocks after they buffed melee again… yeah, nothing.

i mean yeah overgrowth is kinda underwhelming but mana regen really isnt a problem for restro druids anyway. i usually have enough to be throwing out some dps between heals without a problem
Get a competent development team that actually plays its own product besides logging once a month.

You can’t make casters deal as much damage as melee. When you do, you end up with the pvp meta we have right now where casters dominate.

Sure you can. Ranged have to deal with the bulk of mechanics, lose damage while moving etc - Melee just facezug everything ignoring most mechanics - and even when they have to sidestep something they can keep doing their rotation.
That’s just poor PVP balancing. Shadow priests for example just need damage moved from their OP dot into casted abilities. If blizzard spent even a little effort with targetted balance adjustments, it’d be fine.
Why go through the trouble of designing Rogue tanks and Mage healers in the first place if they’re going to be crappy? These specs feel balanced for Era, not SoD where everyone is aoe blasting and speedrunning. In this limited time funserver these new specs should be overpowered and fill the roles and playstyles players today want. Who thought Rogues having bad aoe agro was a good idea? Just like hero classes in their expansions, it only makes sense to make the new specs overpowered so people play them. The reason people aren’t playing them is because they suck!
The way Carnage interacts with Saber Slash is clumsy at best. Stop reinforcing snapshotting for high dps on pull. It’s not fun with these fights that have so much downtime. Redirect is a joke. Saber Slash should stack to 3 to get the full effect. Mutilate has been far too strong for far too long, should only give 1 combo point or should cost 5 more energy.
You devs should be forced to tank sunken temple trash on a sword rogue with enhancement shamans using rockbiter until you figure this out.

All sound quite valid, hopefully we hear an update for SoD soon. Although it does seem the Devs are 95% on cata where blizz can actually make more money.
Im sure we can all see the effort they need to put in to SoD P4. Seems more likely to let it slowly die in the hopes people jump to cata and buy tokens. We shall see.
