I doubt they’ll do that but you never know.
The reason I doubt it is because they haven’t done it since classic launched. including the first season didn’t have name reservations you just had to get it when the server opened.
At best we should see the server names at least a few days in advance, which can make deciding where you’re going at least a bit easier.

This isnt true. SoM opened their realms three days early so we could reserve one name.

I had no memory of this, but when I googled it, you’re right. They did allow for name reservations a few days prior to release. Which means it’s possible they do that again for the second season.

Likely not, servers will probably launch similar to how hardcore did because the servers now support many more concurrent players than ever before.
