I see you have nothing of substance to add so you white knight in here with stock response #24. It’s worth about as much as the “you’re complaining about someone else complaining” responses.
Did you not read the rambling mess of a complaint that was posted? How is this not a troll or at least just someone worth messing with?
Their post isn’t “I dislike SoD” its legit a monolog of how much they don’t wanna put effort in. There is no real bashing or presented opinion by the OP that isn’t just open crying. There is really no opinion to disagree with here, OP is just playing the wrong game. go ahead and defend someone who is more intent on being mad than writing a proper sentence.
No one goes there anymore! its too crowded! haha seriously though, how did you get this invested to the point of posting this if it isn’t engaging and fun?
I’m not even sure what this means. You grinded mobs to increase levels, levels increase talent points. Yes, it’s a slightly different concept now (for rune “talents” which aren’t really even talents), but to say grinding mobs in classic to increase skills/talents didn’t ever exist is a bit, well, strange.
There is a substantial amount of people who really need to take to heart the idea that if you do not like a game, you can simply play a different game.
While I don’t agree with the OP, I can’t remember at all in Classic when I’d have to spend hours deep in ally territory grinding mobs for a drop that isn’t obtainable in horde territory
“This game currently does not fit into my schedule, it sucks but maybe ill be able to schedule or get some free time in the future to play”
-Reasonable take
“change everything about this game to cater to me and my own”
-unreasonable take.
There is plenty of both instances in contested zones and I am sure there are examples of alliance having to do the same and some for horde that run counter, I do not have recent horde experience so I can’t solidly comment.
My main point is almost all MMO’s require grinding of some type for in game benefit. If OP is not wanting to do the new, fairly reasonable outside of a few, grinds then they aren’t gonna be down to do the pre-existing grinds still in the game from Classic. Which I mean they did already explicitly state.
Real dads know that almost none of the things here are required or even happening and you can enjoy the game fully at the pace you like.
Real dads also don’t cry on the forums about the “sweats”, they just play. You don’t even need to pay attention to all the patch notes and changes and whatnot, just play. Otherwise you’re telling us that you have all day to muse and think about the game you dislike so much but not enough time to actually do anything in said game.
If you’re enjoying SoD, keep playing.
If you’re not enjoying SoD, don’t.
But don’t come here to whine about ‘muh sweaty playerbase unfair to us hard workin DADS amirite boys?!?’ when you don’t speak for any of us dads but yourself.
Yeah it seems SoDs whole premise is to bring back the days where people anticipate wild buffs or nerfs to their class. Retail changes are very calculated and methodical compared to what we are seeing here in SoD, more experimental changes.
Back in the day we just played the damn game. The realm forums were far more popular than “General”. In fact, I don’t know if general even existed in the beginning. There were also class forums. If you showed up to the realm forums and started crying, everyone would know who you were and and blacklist you.
How about moving onto another game instead of just complaining you don’t like a product that, SUPRISE, isn’t for you?? I hope you find a game that is better for you. Good luck!!!
It’s okay for customers to make comments about a product (positive or negative). I think it’s helpful for the company to understand what changes (if any) may be needed to improve their product. If people leave or no longer buy what they’re presenting without feedback, how would they know what needs improvement.
If it annoys you, maybe find another thread to read.
