FYI,
In case you don’t know, SoD is built on SoM’s code and likely has the anti-boosting measures that were added in SoM.
What this means:
Mage Boosting Nerfed
Many changes to dungeons are taking place, limiting the viability and efficiency of a Mage “boosting” other players by means of kiting and mob pathing control. For instance, in Maraudon, enemies have a new spell called “Blessing of Theradras” which gives enemies immunity to roots for a brief period, making it much more difficult to execute Maraudon boosting.
Most changes to Dungeons are aimed at reducing the ability to boost or powerlevel lower level characters in SoM.
Mauradon
Crowd control of any type (except snares or roots) will reset the snare immunity, root immunity, and speed buffs.Stratholme
All Undead creatures in Stratholme will now gain an immunity to snares 30 seconds after entering combat and gain immunity to roots after an additional 30 seconds of combat.Crowd control of any type (except snares or roots) will reset the snare immunity, root immunity, and speed buffs.
Zul’Farrak
Zombie Trolls in Zul’Farrak now drop fewer lucrative treasures. Most of the loot previously dropped by Zombie Trolls has been redistributed to other enemies in the dungeon.Blackrock Depths
Pickpocketing in Blackrock Depths can be extremely lucrative – so much so that the residents have become wise to the depredations of thieves. If Rogues use Pick Pocket too often, a new debuff called Thief! will be applied; for 30 minutes afterward, all Pickpocketing will produce is Pocket Lint. The number of Pick Pocket attempts to trigger the debuff varies, but seems to average around 10.
