Sod Killed wrath

too many players re-rolled from wrath to sod or what?
since the release of SoD wrath has become empty and cold, no pugs/long rdf queue and even long bg queue…gold lost huge value and more…etc

gj blizzard killing your own games with your own games

Funny how easy it is to dethrone “the peak” “the golden age”

because they announced cataclysm classic, which nobody gives two peanuts about joining, plus no wrath era servers. Which means that since we’re at ICC already any further gearing or progression is meaningless. If you’ve cleared the content and done your share of gammas, what else is there to enjoy? That character is done for, nothing to look forward to with it.

wrath was a huge let down. uld was garbo, toc was snooze fest, and icc is literally hyjall 2.0 with trash

Honestly, its sad, they did a horrendous job at SoD, unless you’re on the server that is lopsided to your faction, since that is a problem they were supposed to fix, or you’re playing one of the mindlessly busted classes, because their balancing sucks, Or you are on a class that literally has no thought or anything cool to it, like hunters or warriors which are literally the same as classic era with some retail abilities, no cool features, no cool spells or effects or off-roles or anything. Its just complete nonsense and no one realizes how garbage it actually is cause influencers say its so good.

You think anyone at Blizzard could have foreseen that the seasonal server made in direct response to and for the Classic Era community would end up appealing to almost the entire WoW community as a whole?

I couldn’t even anticipate this.

Wrath killed Wrath.

I have no idea why anyone likes wrath. It’s just a mediocre version of retail.

Not…really? SoD has new shininess and Wrath is at the end of its lifespan with most people raid logging ICC

spam RDF and buy raid drops? why would anyone not be into that? sounds like so much fun!

They killed it before SoD and they know this, if they did WotLK right a large number of the player base would still be there.

just people chasing the new shiny.

People joined to try out something new. They’ll come back to Wotlk eventually. In my case, I have no desire to play Wotlk because Cataclysm is a deal breaker and they have not stated whether they are forcing it on everyone or not, which tells me they are. They must have sent out their surveys to people who weren’t around for it and don’t realize that it’s the end of the classic era.

No, the playerbase killed wrath. SoD just gave them something new to kill and the survivors somewhere to try and find refuge.

For gods sake you morons REVIVED GEARSCORE. Hands down the biggest joke do nothing bad info addon the game has EVER had and you WILLINGLY BROUGHT IT BACK.

WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?

The entire point of a second chance is to NOT repeat the same mistakes. You smoothbrains went out of your way to hit every last one of them AND make all new ones on top of it.

The announcement of Cata killed Wrath and the entire Classic line. SoD just gave people something to do until the next thing comes out.

No need to quit WotLK when SoD level cap is only 25. I’m playing both games. What’s more likely is people are talking a break for the holidays now that it’s December.

idk if SoD was the culprit or the savior… I feel like Wrath was falling off anyway.
