I think that’s just it. SoD content is done.
Nothing left to discover. No new zones, no new playstyles, re-hashed raids, and a bunch of stuff everyone has already done at level 60. I don’t know what they could possibly add in p4 that would change that.
TBF, I actually expected the Cata numbers to be much higher. Mop Remix is almost done, SoD has been in hibernation for over a month, Retail is halfway through their latest season. and D4 new season has been out for awhile now.
Cata had no competition, all eyes on it. Maybe it’s numbers get better, but it will now be competing with War within Beta that drops today for their player base.

Buncha dummies being egged on by a company talking about not splitting the playerbase and believing corpo boot wash they lick up. Can hardly call them human.
Imagine getting played so hard you don’t champion there being fresh progressive realms for all xpacs from one of the biggest companies in gaming. Who could do it for next to nothing but instead trick mouth breathers into arguing agaisnt their own well being to save thirty bucks.
There’s little worse than a wow player.

Brother, I’ve been lefting holding the reigns of a dead guild eight times. EIGHT.
They never come back in numbers to matter. You have to raid every week of an xpac, week in and week out to make it to naxx whole.
The initial bounce back at p4 might even hurt. It will give players similar to you just enough hope that their guild can make it and guarantees they are much more likely to then quit then join a new guild.
If blizzard just hired long term guild masters wow could be fixed so fast, alas never to be.
