Uhm, so can we please get an update on what’s going to happen already por favor lol? This is ridiculous. Why leave us in the blind?
It would be nice to know what exactly the plans are other than “we have a lot of exciting things” that may or may not be incredibly vague and ambiguously steered toward SoD.
Yes… yes, it would.
They did take off Culminates
they probably don’t know either.
Assuming it’s all hands on deck to get MOP out…
It’s probably just going to die. It would make no sense to release TBC for SOD because a lot of the runes players have now are the skills they train in later expansions. It’s sad because I so love my mage healer and I have no interest in retail OR playing anniversary realms after doing 2019 classic.
I agree with this 100%. I have done the classic experience, I also have a level 60 druid on a anniversary realm.
I have zero motivation to go back to anniversary and be just some chump druid with no starsurge, no starfall, no lifebloom and no chance.
I can’t bring myself to play anniversary. It’s so boring.
I don’t know if I’m interested in MOP either. The gameplay is probably great but I prefer the Tolkien-esque setting of Vanillla/WOTLK. Only BC gets a pass on that preference for me.
The intentional ambiguity from the devs signals sod is at its maintenance stage to me unfortunately,
I don’t want SoD to go into TBC tbh, but at least one more phase would be nice. I’d be satisfied with that.
My guess is they are probably being vague because they have been vague as long as I remember… Right now all hands are in the MOP code to get that ready. I assume once they stabilize MOP we will get some cool goodies. Anyone who says that SOD is over is speculating, which is fine, but speculating none the less…
I’m in the same boat. I have no interest in Anniversary/Era/Hardcore/Retail/Cata. I want SoD/Classic+. If they don’t end up giving us any substantial info on whats coming next for SoD, then its going to kill off a lot of their playerbase. I personally will probably just unsub on my accounts and invest my time into other games if SoD doesn’t continue.
Theres no speculation here. Aggrend said there will be no more large content updates.
We may get QoL stuff, but theres not gonna be a new phase, dungeons, raids, or the like.
they have said that SoD is not going to TBC at all my guess is in a couple weeks or so they will announce something about an official classic+
It’s unfortunate but no future updates will just cause the servers to die off like Era did. There’s still a straggling population there but a very large fraction of what it used to be.
Also I would genuinely shocked if we see anything regarding classic+ until Blizzcon next year sadly. Guarantee that’ll be one of their biggest panels for the entire con lol. If that ends up being the case, we won’t be seeing any new SoD/Classic+ content for at least another year.
Ideally SOD should get smaller updates until Classic+ is announced in a year which I think it will. I’d honestly be surprised if it dies off like Era did before Classic+ because there isn’t really another version of WoW like SOD and there are a lot of people that don’t want to play Classic or even TBC yet again.
Im about to level a hunter and have sum fun in wpvp.
All these people crying was gonna cry no matter wat.
Nothing is ever enuff for sum people.
Im loving SOD, if we get QOL stuff thats a awesome bonus,
There is no such quote.
