Do you think there will be a fresh SOD server at some point?
Or if SOD will roll into TBC with a phased system?
Why? How many variety of freshes do we need? These type of posts got out of hand.

Even if they drastically changed phase 3 I don’t think you’re going to have the numbers to do this again. Don’t even think Fresh Classic is going to have the numbers long into the beginnings of more MC.

Out of curiosity. They seem to launch fresh classic servers fairly often, I was wondering if they’d do the same thing with SOD at some point once player counts drop off.
The fresh brained BUMs need unlimited fresh realms because the idea of getting 60 and geared before other people is just the greatest sensation in the world.
The phenomenon started back in like 2013 when all the pservers were competing with one another. That was the beginning the “new fresh when?” mindset. Most of the pservers were located in EU countries. And all the welfare euros that have been playing wow 18 hours a day for the last 20 years were all about it.
I mean can you think of anything better than leveling to 60 grinding out rank 14 and then doing it all over again every 4 to 6 months? I can think of nothing better… Most populated servers would get to BWL only to have a new “Fresh” server on the horizon.
It seems blizz has finally caught on to that mind set as they now have 74 different version of the game.

SoD is not elitist friendly indeed. Deep down this is what the doom culture is really about. Hopefully the B team sees through this and not get influenced regarding direction.
yeah imo sod is a great start and they should keep expanding it with more runes and content just keep making the 1-60 journey more of a sandbox

This pretty much sums it up. There’s also the fomo crowd who has big plans for when they finally hit 60 yet fail to make it that far, and thinks they’re too far behind to catch up and raid with everyone else.

I don’t think so but keep in mind a lot of the ideas they tested in SoD made it to Fresh and possibly beyond as a part of how the Classic team does business.
Dual Spec, mega servers, PVP server faction balancing, GDKP ban, 30 day new account trade limitations, etc.
Fresh is not #nochanges because of the ideas they tested and liked from SoD
