During the day, its been pretty dead. Nothing going on at this moment. But during peak hours it seems to still be pretty strong. We had multiple layers last night. But literally no raid going on at the moment. Wish blizz just held off the announcement a month longer tbh.

The thing is - alot of nerds who like to play whatever their favorite content creator is playing are sponsored to play X version. Just like Graycen was previously when Bean wasn’t offered the same deal. So basically Blizzard pays “your streamer” to play a specific version of the game to help people to flock to that version.
I agree. If Blizzard had waited until about two weeks before MoP’s launch, SoD could have enjoyed a longer lifespan by preserving the 5% stacking buff. Moreover, introducing the “death” to SoD—and announcing the “free” boost prematurely—only accelerated its decline. They really should have delayed both moves.

Wrath is dangerously close to retail. So much so I quit as soon as I hit 80. Blizz didn’t help by introducing bootleg M+ to the mix.

Out of curiosity I did login to Cata and Anni on 1 popular server each and those versions are still a lot more dead than SoD is still, I had no issues getting groups on my 34 lock alt on SoD. We must remember the free 85 boost isn’t granted until July so people could just still be logging into SoD
