Sod creators shilling the war within

The woke within.

Damn is it really? That’s disappointing

I won’t lie, I have no idea.

Oh, no! Blizzard employees are supporting their company’s product… how terrible!

It’s almost like you can enjoy more than one video game in life… weird concept.

Leveling and all content below mythic+ is pretty easy. Classes overall are a bit bloated but you can reduce button bloat by customizing your talent tree with more passives. You can select the default beginner talent build and change your talents at any time or save loadouts.

Best advice is to never boost a new character. Leveling doesn’t take long and you can RDF level with anyone 10-60 as the mobs scale to you. Take the time to level and learn your spec, you get a new talent at every level.

Nothing is really hard in retail anymore until you get into high-end content. There are solo dungeons called Delves and world quests if you don’t want to group.

Remember that gear in retail is upgradable with Valorstones (was Flightstones) by doing different activities in the world and group content. If you get a good trinket for your class you can just keep upgrading it.

Sorry, you don’t make enough money to save $10 for each month for a year lmao.

well retail is trash so theres that

It’s the concept.

The concept of not being able to budget. Got it.

Classic players are one-game andys yes we know

I play sod and I played retail. So what does that make me? I think sod is not doing well but I think retail is legit trash.

2019 was pretty good for classic, som was good.

They ignore pvp in classic and that is literally its downfall

Mage for now cause he’s my dude but will use my warlock from mopmix too. Yeah that zone is sooooooo good, and I like the quests/lore there

Falling into these marketing traps that exploit loss aversion is the real failure to budget.

Nobody wants early access to an online game. But they don’t want to miss out on everybody else having early access to an online game.

You’re an adult and are free to spend your money as you see fit, but you shouldn’t feel proud of your purchase and you certainly shouldn’t shame others.

Tbf many people who write woke rarely do so atleast you kept it on brand. They see a black character and just go, oh no that’s woke no way black characters can exist in a game without the liberal agenda.

You play retail but you think it’s trash? Sounds like you might want to find a better hobby man. Retail is fun if you don’t waste mental energy trying to compare versions of the game 20 years apart.

SoD PvP was a joke from the start. It was never going to be balanced or fun. But you have to remember that most Classic players couldn’t care less about PvP and it’s certainly not a factor as to why pop is dwindling.

I think people just can’t accept that every version of Classic has such little interesting content that it becomes a seasonal thing where people return for a month then quit because there’s nothing to do.

It’s not really into the middle of Cataclysm and beginning of MoP that the game had reasons to login besides one raid per week.

No I give retail a try and realize its still indeed trash. Never hurts to give it a shot, no?

Says who? Where do you get these magic numbers of people who care or dont care about pvp.

The AV grind to r14 is going to disagree with you. Games are popping rn less than 2 mins. It takes me quadruple that amount of time to do any pve content so by your logic you’re actually wrong.

Classic has died twice now because they ignore pvp and people who raid start one shotting everyone out in open world and it dies.

Now that they killed world pvp right off the go who knows. I do agree with you, the devs for sod are god awful.

Lol because it’s always the same people spam queuing all day. No duh, it’s faster to queue into a BG when you don’t have to put any time or effort forming a group.

No duh, the ground-finder, cross-realm system is faster than finding 19 randoms to kill Onyxia and get everyone summoned and buffed. -__-

It doesn’t change the fact that there are 100x more people with raid logs than are queuing for BGs. It’s been like that since P1.

I hope you see the irony in your comment. You claim PvP is in such a terrible state that people are quitting the game then say BGs are healthy and people are running all day! xD

Actually if you bothered to learn how to read at a 3rd grade level you would have read the part where i said once PVE gear people start one shotting everyone else in world pvp it dies.

IE… AQ ish gear is when the entire pvp community quit twice now. No pvp weapons is a major problem in SOD.

I can que bg and get in almost instantly.

PVE is potato easy and I can raid in all versions of wow while watching netflix but its still boring for a lot of people.

Not to mention PVE gearing is incredibly faster than pvp gearing and theres no pvp weapons.

PvP Community != Classic community. I know the forums are primarily a place for people to come to vent about PvP, but you guys have always been the minority.

Considering 90% of the content and dev time goes into PvE content, 100% of the gear and profession reworks are for PvE, I think the devs know their demographic.

PvP is easily accessible because it’s repeatable content but that doesn’t change the fact that a tiny minority care about PvP.

So when you say PvP or lack of quality care and support for it killed SoD, that’s simply not true. Classic dies off each phase because people get their gear and Classic is a shallow game with no repeatable content.

Give it a month after the hype for TWW chills out a bit and people will come back for Phase 5.

None of the points you’ve made change the fact that PvP is irrelevant overall to the community at large. People would rather not login between raids than waste their time in a BG.
