I attempted to help a friend with the sunken temple crafting quest to kill the amalgamation. I had completed the quest and as an engineer I used the bracers to craft the epic engineering bracers Void-Powered Invoker’s Vambraces.
This did not protect from the negative aura, I was unable to heal or do damage and I was 1 shot by the aoe shadowbolts.
This must be an oversight as the engineering bracers still have the on equip effect of “Provides protection against certain types of psychic attacks.” the exact same wording as the quest bracers, which are also used as a material for the engineering bracers.
Please get some eyes on this as I have other friends I would like to be able to assist with this quest.
