Have asked a few people and have gotten different answers
Purchase a Tiered Medallion Setting and apply it.
I think that it’s one of each quality, or rather you can’t just use 3x rank 1s.
Buy two of the 2 star tiered medallion things. Then buy a 3 star one. Apply the 3 star one last. 3 star must be applied last or you’ll be stuck at 2 sockets.
I used two of the 2-star gems one 3-star gem in the sockets. I don’t know if that is optimal but i also had a hard time finding information for it. There is surprisingly little discussions or guides. I think many people don’t understand it because a lot of people don’t have thier neck socketed.
Enchants were also confusing. Basically you want to the best 3 star blue/epic enchant that is available. The tooltips are not accurate and will not represent the actual value when you apply them.
The best weapon enchants are quite expensive.

I’m not the one stressing over gemming gear. I’m not the one lying to myself saying “Oh man I need these itty bitty gem boosts, surely that’ll help me get over 1600!” because it won’t. I’ll forever be 1400.

There’s a limit on trophy and conquest gains, so the gear will temporarily be bis. I don’t think it’s worth it to dump 100k into weapon enchants and whatnot now, but that’s just me, and some people might not care if it means some more early season power.
yeah this makes sense i would only grab cheap stuff, espec considering wep is prob what you’ll save for first
but 10k for the neck that will probably be one of the things you upgrade last is not a big deal
on beta shuffles didn’t give you an award box so dunno what live will be like, but if u do get them, they give like 6 rousing ires a pop, thats 600g, 15 wins and the neck price is covered, not to mention the patterns that are still 5-200k
pvpers should be rolling it in this expansion
Being ready to compete isn’t sweaty. It’s not like we need to play 20 hours a day to get 3 sockets. You are just doing some very basic stuff. Everyone should be fully enchanted and gemmed. Thinking this is sweaty is a fried take.
If you aren’t going to do the basic stuff you have no room to complain.
I’ve already made 400k from those recipes. I’m loving the surge in gold from doing nothing but arena skirms and BGs. Quite useful, it should be enough to gem/enchant all my alts
