Socketed Primordial Gems Mistakenly Destroyed

Assumed you could swap them out because they can be removed, socketed three gems on top of the three I was using, and destroyed my upgraded gems. I don’t even think there was a confirmation window.

Entirely my fault - really stupid not to doublecheck before socketing them. But as it’s my fault, I have to fix it, and I’m doing that by cancelling my sub. When I realized I destroyed them, it made me question what the hell I’m doing even playing this game.

So PSA, don’t socket gems on top of those already in your ring. They must be removed with the Jeweler’s Kit. I know, probably common knowledge, but I wasn’t here for shards of domination, and we have the ability to remove them. No idea why they can’t just be swapped. And the gems cannot be restored as far as I can tell. Vendor? Sure. Destroyed? SOL.

That is a bummer, my condolences.

I hope you didn’t overpay to have them upgraded. The good news is they are very easy to farm, and presumably the reason you socket new ones over them was because they were better ones.

Bit of an over reaction there. Maybe once your emotions settle down you will feel differently. Either way, you do you. Good luck, friend.

Submit a ticket citing no confirmation dialog they would be destroyed.

Probably won’t amount to anything, but I’m pretty sure you do get a warning when you’re about to destroy a socketed prismatic gem, so stones should have same warning.
