Trying to fly around Valdrakken and I can’t fly more than 30 feet without losing one of my speed levels. Takes no time at all before you are completely grounded even trying to use abilities.
Why does blizzard hate soar?!

I can also land while soar is up now and double jumping launches me back into the air and starts flying again.
Just wait until you try to soar in old zones. Entering a new zone while soaring makes you stop dead in your tracks. Like hitting a brick wall.
I’ve never encountered this with soar. Makes me wonder if its a technical issue.
You would think that a company that gets thousands of dollars per player, they would listening to us so to keep the game a float…
I have not run into any of these issues with soar and i use it as much as i can because i hate being a dragon riding a dragon
this only happens if you don’t have an SSD
I use a SSD and it happens to me all the time.
if you have an SSD and it still happens then there is a loading problem with your game. The Soar stop happens when the new zone takes too long to load that it makes your Soar lose momentum.
I only have an SSD and still happens. Unless they patched it recently, I haven’t checked to be honest.

because you are dragonriding in the dragon isles, there is always someone on those maps, so loading takes less time.
Old world maps sometimes you enter a brand new instance which takes a little more time to load.
This is the exact same bug that ejects your friend from a 2seater mount.
It actually happens for me in the dragon isles more than the old world lol
