I know it’s been talked to death but please change soar from an instant cast dragonriding on cooldown to just a dynamic flight ability that allows you to permanently use dracthyr form as dynamic flight mount.
No one needs an instant cast spell on a cooldown to be able to fly as themselves. The vast majority of Dracthyr would probably prefer just being able to have the ability to fly as themselves.
That’s all it needs to be to make the vast majority happy. Most of us (most not all) don’t care about the speed boost or instant cast. Just make it regular 1.5 sec cast self flight form. Anything else is just significantly overthinking this situation.
It’s not even instant cast now, nor was that ever on the table.
It’s literally just dragonriding but worse for no reason.

Well they are planning on making it regular dragon riding in a future patch (although it has a short cooldown still or something)
So… yay?
I mainly use it when my actual dragon mount is tired , then swap back to my dragon after soar is used up
I wish it was more like a Druid flight form for sure! It really is just dragon riding
Thought i heard someone say it was becoming instant like druid form but it wasnt confirmed for sure. I was just putting out there that most would far prefer taking off as their own form with no cooldown.
Druids don’t even have a cooldown and is insant it’s just a tad slower.
This cooldown is garbage just make it 1.5 sec cast and same speed as dynamic flight and call it a day.

Ish. It will still have a cooldown that starts when you land, and landing will still cancel it so you won’t be able to use the mounted gathering function of DR.
Which, like, why? Just let it work exactly like DR. I don’t see the point of a nerfed version of it.
