So you brought back a 15 year old game

If you can bring back a 15 year old game and have it be a worldwide success then you can bring back a 3 year old movie. I’m talking Warcraft (2016). Sure it’s not exactly the same as the game lore but it was pretty d@mn good and I want to see a CGI Gul’dan get his @$$ kicked by a real guy. We’re in a new era where a lot less people are using rotten tomatoes so they wont make an opinion before seeing the movie and get a bunch of empty seats because “professional” movie reviewers give it a bad review because it aint oscar bait. Movie was good, I rewatch it sometimes and get mad everytime knowing it stops there. If you havent watched it, do it, you’ll enjoy it. Give more support for a sequel.

tl;dr: I want my sequel.

Thank you, we’re not asking for much.

Sorry but I think the critics were right on this one, I didn’t like it :/. Just way all over the place, the characters felt dull, there was not enough backstory and explaining for the non wow player. Even as a wow player it didn’t engage me.

I do want a sequel though, but they’ll need a different approach.

Yeah Warcraft definitely wasn’t Schindler’s List or anything.

Too many lesser actors; some who only became more well-known from TV roles later.

Get a better cast and you have a better movie.

I want The Lich King story movie!

Hey, the Warcraft movie was 100x better than The Last Jedi. TLJ was an absolute dumpster fire. That’s what happens when you get a hack director making a movie for himself and not the fans.

You’re a WoW player but you gotta be a Warcraft player. This is Warcraft 1.

I think with the warcraft movie they were trying to base it more off of the warcraft RTS series.

On the bright side, Warcraft 2 takes place six years later, so I wouldn’t mind if the next movie took that long.

Yes, thats why it’s called Warcraft. Cant just jump into the WoW timeline.

yep, knew that, now if i could only figure out how to convey sarcasm through a keyboard!?!?!?

We have not reached that level of technology yet.

of all the movies that are based of a game, it was one of the better ones ive seen… I didnt mind it…

It was flawed but fun to watch.
I loved the orc parts.

Yeah, exactly. It was like 80s and 90s action movies. Flawed but you still thought they were awesome and loved watching them.

Schindler’s List isn’t even a good movie, it is full of major and glaring historical inaccuracies and prioritizes artsty fartsy metaphors over history.

Should have been set from at the very earliest, the start of WC3. Starting from WoW would be good too as it’d probably be far more familiar to a lot of people.
