So yea, the Blizzard xpac cycle is true

I think I can destill this to a pattern.

The best Blizzard expansions are the ones that include a brand new class.

Wrath is arguably more popular then TBC because Wrath had a new class that being Death Knights

Cata sucked because it had no new Class. Though Worgen and Goblins are a nice Race addition.

MOP was great because it had a new Class that being Monks.

WOD sucked because it had no new Class, not even a new Race.

Legion was good because it had a new Class that being Demon Hunters.

Now look at BFA.

So if the pattern persist the next xpac would have a new Class. I am hoping its a Tinker class.

There are more than a few people who think MoP was awesome.

But I would like to see a tinker class

I can already imagine it it having 3 specs of a Tank, DPS, and Healer.

A Tank Tinker pilots a Mech like what Mekkatorque pilots.

A DPS Tinker is all about Gunz, Gunz, Gunz.

A Healer Tinker functions more or less like a Starcraft Terran Medic.

Tinker seems too close to Engineer but I will go with that as a new class if it’s what’s offered. And how about a real new race, not just paintjobs?

So far BfA is living down to its disappointing premise. Woo-hoo, faction warzzzzzzzz…

Wrong actually - TBC was very successful and Wrath springboarded off this success and added to it for one simple reason - Arthas. Fans of the warcraft series finally got to take the fight to the lich king.

Again wrong - it sucked because healing changes made the game very difficult, a return to BC type dungeons on top of this made people annoyed. Plus the change to the levelling zones after deathwing nuked them from orbit meant that there was a massive LACK of endgame content that wasn’t just raiding. The raids were still good until dragonsoul.

Not to hear the forums whine about it seriously the amount of complaints about pandas nearly drowned the forum. MoP was a good expac because of multiple things to do, the best raid since Ulduar and the fact the story was tight and engaging.

No it sucked because of the player housing that was implemented. On the other hand, it was a solid expac - if a bit of a strange premise. The raids were decent, and frankly there wasn’t anything bad about it. The zones were large, had lots of stuff in them to do and there were things to work towards. Players just whined because they weren’t handed everything… and they didn’t get ‘the sims’ in housing. Also they complained they had to work towards getting flight.

Legion was just fine, because it had a story, class halls, things to do. A new class had nothing to do with it… And still people cried the sky was falling and the game was going to end because AP / legendary / PvP etc.

In general, there is nothing really wrong with BFA in terms of content, quests, raids, zones and dungeons. The only issue with BFA right now is borked class balance. If Blizz concentrates on getting this right, then the xpac will pretty much be good… well that and storylines… even though the story is pretty engaging Horde players are tired of being the villains all the time… give alliance a turn at this.

This is a troll right? WoD zones were large? WoD was good overall? Having trouble here taking you seriously.

Maybe because it required you do do things, is why you don’t like it? Plenty to do if you went out of your garrison to do it. Garrisons were a mistake frankly…

The successful ones worked because they felt like expansions to the game. Failed ones like cataclysm were more changeansions, same with bfa. Add new stuff dont scrap or change things just to sell copies.

If you think MoP was good cause of monks… you need to re think… MoP was good cause of class design, every class felt amazing to play especially Warlocks… I’ve never made a monk… but MoP was at its peak from class design.

Class Design that was carried over from Cata.

If a Tinker class is introduced, which is likely, no doubt the next expansion will be relatively successful off that aspect alone. /moo

Imagine a Tauren Tinker going toe to toe with a Gnome Tinker. That’s good fun right there.

Who says Tauren will be Tinkers?

For all I know they are gonna go the Demon Hunter rout and have 1 race for each faction to be a Tinker. Gnomes for Alliance, Goblins for Horde.

If other races are to be Tinkers the most likely is Mag’har Orcs (because Iron Horde) and Lightforged Draenei.

Bruh…WoD was a dumpster fire full of used baby diapers. As a PvPer I’m going to sympathize for my PvE counterparts in that there were only 3 raids and like what 8 dungeons?

PvP was WAY out of whack unbalanced with class design.

End game content virtually non-existant. I actually had time to get just about every xmog set i wanted from old content because there was hardly anything current to do.

Garrisons were a good idea on paper but did not translate to game well at all, they improved on this with class order halls which were much more well received, as well as a capital city which WoD had promised but then scrapped.

The launch was God awful.

I think one of the only decent things in that whole expansion was the actual leveling and professions.

I hope we see multiple classes

Game is a billion years old and we only got 3 classes added so far.

A cow can hope, right? /moo

But yeah, it makes sense that Gnomes (and Junker Gnomes /wink) and Goblins would be tinkers. Those are 100% going to be the first races to receive the class and probably the best races for it.

I acknowledge that I’m a tiny, minuscule minority, but my dream new class, hero or otherwise, has always been Dragonsworn from the RPG books. Some of the abilities just sounded so awesome, and they varied based on which flight your character had chosen to serve. You could do things like sprout claws for melee fighting, grow temporary scales for armor, use spells based on your flight (shadowflame for the black flight, I believe cold for the blue flight, ect), and most awesome of all, dragon wings for flight. It would be like the demon hunter wings, only for true flight. Spec could be based on flight…healing spec would be Red dragonsworn (or green I suppose) as an example.

Whatever we get will probably be ranged physical damage with a bit of magic.

I’m leaning on a gun/bow user with mail armor to even things up, likely a tinker.

If not a tinker, we’d probably get either Dark Rangers or Shadow Hunters with a Warden mirror on the blue side.

Why mail? Monks were supposed to be cloth initially iirc, mail would make the most design sense.

Actual a couple classes would bring in a lot of people. Tinkers a good choice but might as well add in Ranger/Dark Ranger

Theirs alot wrong with BFA, if it were just class balance not as many people would of left. Try blaming blizzard for the AP Grind AGAIN. I hated it in Legion and still hate this grind, Honestly with the Azerite traits sucking their are completly underwelming and pretty useless. I honestly would of rather prefered if it was like Legion and it was just traits that increased healing & dps number of abilities. Not this whole i got to sim it to see what’s actually better crap. Than on top of that the removal of CLASS IDENTITY with no cool looking Sets to set your class apart from others just more of blizzard and their class homogenization.

The current class team can’t even manage to balance the classes we have. Well better wording would be “are far too lazy to try” adding yet another class would make it even worse. There is still time to salvage BFA. My sub expires the 23rd of this month so I’ve already spoken on how I feel. I’m casual as heck (as if you couldn’t tell) and im not enjoying it at all.

classes, story, azerite system all need to be fixed.

Please stop with that obnoxious /moo. This forum doesn’t need another gimmick poster.
