So World Buffs/pvp balance let's talk about it

Ok we don’t know what this is going to look like yet because blizzard hasn’t said anything about world Buffs I think up till this point it’s been okay.

you have you 3 sunflower Dmf and I can’t remember the name so I’m just going to call it the sunken Temple World buff.

thas 3 so blizzard hasn’t mentioned them adding a new world buff for mc thank heaven an alliance getting its own version of WarChiefs blessing is good.

But I still think it could be improved upon I think most people would say they love World Buffs they do not love getting World Buffs and before the pvp defense comes up.

My argument would be I’ve seen plenty of world PVP aka people are going to World PVP with or without World Buffs especially with the events.

On top of the fact if you really want to make the argument that sod is supposed to be cough cough alt friendly faster leveling doesn’t necessarily mean it’s alt friendly.

Wrath and cata are more alt friendly than sod is by a very big margin I would add and yes leveling speed is a part of that but not everything.

So this is how I would fix World Buffs 1 make them all dispellable 2 have them drop in each major city every 3 hours but keep the old ways of getting them in the game for those that want to do it.

3 let them last through death in Dungeons and raids and if not that combine them.

aka WarChiefs blessing/might of Stormwind and cry of the Dragon Slayer be the same buff sunflower and heart and the 3 dm buffs be the same buff and Dmf this way it would only be 4 not 7 up this would make it a lot more alt friendly.

and sod more approachable overall now pvp balance this is always going to be a weird thing going back and forth I think the best thing to do is worry about Battleground balance first I know there are a ton of people that love World PVP.

But it’s a little bit hard to balance classes in those open world environments outside of one suggestion I would have different spells hit for different amounts when they’re in pvp combat/ bgs.

This way instead of saying will this class just gets nerfed crud I feel worse in pve now ? Because of pvp we’ve all been there adjust the health and damage amounts or utilities specifically for when they’re in PvP combat or flagged.

Yeah it’s not perfect but it’s way better than just X classes overpowered nerfed them and then they fell worse in everything and yes before this is how they do PVP balancing in modern.

And whether you like the modern game or not you have to admit this is a better solution than just making a class feel worse overall anyway thoughts?

what’s the point of world buffs that last thru death??? just remove them at that point

If they limited it to 1 world buff they could actually balance the game I think.
