Ours. We wanted tier, we didn’t ask for insane amounts of our player performance to get held hostage to RNG though.
Poorly implemented acquisition system that makes players feel terrible and hopeless.
What else is new with their implementations, I guess.

I just don’t recall it being this bad.
It’s like they’re looking to just spite the player base.
Maybe someone was mad their Covenant armor bonuses didn’t fly.

I’m sorry? I’m not following why you think it’s a poorly though out concept.
Tier sets serve as a great mid-patch tuning knob for classes. If a class struggles with ST/AOE they can add a set bonus that gives a bandage fix to the class without giving it an overhaul. Tier sets are have historically been great for class transmogs.
Maybe you could elaborate on this?
That’s being addressed with the creation catalyst, which I’ve gone on record to say I would much rather prefer if it was released earlier - but it’s coming regardless.

Ours for sure. I like tier and I want tier to be a thing, but don’t gate it behind impossible levels of RNG that makes a large amount of the community not able to play their class to potential for months.
I’ve been 11/11 since week 1 and gotten 1 tier drop and 0 from vaults. Ive even cleared the LFR wings that are open to try and get tier and i still only have 1 piece. It’s ridiculously absurd that i have 50 boss kills and 1piece of tier, and my vault hasnt had a single piece. What is the point of raiding and doing mythic + if all i get is trash gear or no gear at all.

oh man. this 4-set bonus makes me OP as hell. you guys look like ants from up here. I’m loving this tier thing.
Please add more of it in future. and bigger sets. we want 8-set bonuses again.

Uhhh, me, and a ton of other people. Especially those who have been divinely blessed by RNG and get to pop off for 20k+ dps while the rest of us soft cap around 13-14k.

It’s just why create something fun and good then purposely gimp it from the get go?
If tier gear is that important for our classes to perform, shouldn’t it be a zone quest item?
Not something we have to hope to earn randomly in instances?
It feels like we’ve gotten an incomplete game with an incomplete class now.

i don’t really like M+ tbh. it’s the timer - i don’t like being rushed. But i get 3 slots from the raid and am only picking one item so why would i need a 4th slot i won’t pick?

there is nothing wrong with tier. but a 30% increase to player power makes it manditory. it went from quality of life features or a rounding out of your spec feature to manditory and if you dont have it, you are not up to par thing. The execution of it is so bad, but given bliz’s track record for the last 3 xpacs im not even suprised. Imagine being that disconnected that you dont even realize how big of a mistake you are making with tuning your own systems layered upon more systems
Yeah you’re right, I should just do the bare minimum. Not like doing extra is even rewarding me for my time in any way.
All these people telling me to earn my tier are delusional, RNG baby. That’s the message blizz is sending, don’t play their game.

Sylvanas bow, Jaithas, Dagger from Sylvanas, Fist weapon from Painsmith.
Those were all items that were important for specs that used those items for them to perform at full strength, didn’t see these threads popping up last patch no?
Do you think missing 4 piece is really the definitive thing stopping you from pushing higher than a 18?

If I was competitive yeah cause every other time when a player is chosen for a role, you’re going to pick the player who has the tier gear every time since it’s such a huge risk of failure if you don’t.
Thanks to Blizz it’s no longer bring the class, role or player its bring the tier or die.
Yall keep talking about how powerful tier sets are…like 10-30% boost in power…wish my tier set boosted my dps by that much…

Yeah no, I understand completely, I know what you’re saying you’re doing.
I was also right about what you’re not doing. You have done much less than me on a week to week basis and here you are with 4 set.
It’s fine to feel well, whatever, idc what, but you got 4 set faster doing less so naturally I’m going to follow suit so I can bask in the glory of 4 set too.
