They’ll absolutely crash about 9pm EST when that zone is in prime time and we’ll be at peak-ish hours in other places as well.

the only reason i mention this is because i seen Dreadmaul listed a ‘FULL’ a few days ago and remembered they merged a bunch of realms, and thought, oh yea this could be a problem for SL.

I think this will be the smoothest and most stable expansion launch for blizzard ever.

On a side note i think it will also be buggy as hell and stuffs gonna be imba for the next 6 months.

tbh this should of been given when they started to merge realms.
it utterly ruined some economies and faction balance.

BfA had the smoothest launch to date so I’m sure shadowlands launch will be just fine but then again it’s Blizzard so you never know.

Wouldn’t that defeat the purpose though? Free transfer generally mean the people migrate to an already over populated realm, the merge would then just be more dead servers pushed together.

I am looking forward to the “I didn’t know” threads though.

If Blizzard is lucky, the irate postings here will be about long queue times rather than crashing servers. The former is typical of a new release.

many people pick a server for specific reason.
they dont want a ton of ppl on it.

if someone really cared about having more ppl on server they’d buy a transfer.

With people working from home I expect there to be login queues well into the morning of the 24th.

INEVITABLY some moron will buy a bot farm to dos the servers
 it happens every expansion.
