So... why "wow-europe.com" redirects to "/en-us"?

Why not to “/en-gb” for example?

All right, Beatrice, there was no alien. The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

The flash of light was indeed an UFO at the point at which I saw it.

The a/an distinction is almost always dictated by pronunciation not spelling. Ie: we say “an” honor, not “a” honor.

What language preference did you set in your browser? Is it set to en-gb or en-us? If the browser checks out, how about your OS?

And it is a direct quote anyways. Trying to correct the grammar of a quote is pretty silly.

It’s a movie quote my dude.

Don’t take yourself so serious, no one else does.

Correcting grammar on the internet is douchey enough when you’re right about it. Being flat out wrong when doing it takes it to a new level. The use of “a” versus “an” depends on the sound at the be beginning of the word, not the letter. That’s why we say, “It’s an honor to meet you.” We don’t say, “a honor.” The letters in “UFO” are stated, not pronounced. Since the sound used there is the consonant form of “Y,” saying, “a UFO,” is correct. You wouldn’t say, “I saw him an year ago,” would you?
