Not have any actual Synergy with Spirit?
I cannot imagine I’m the first one to find it weird… but what is the reasoning? especially given spirit is so heavily pushed on healing gear.

Because spirit, the stat, and spirits, a spectral force, are two entirely different things
Spirit, the stat, is like energy, or willpower, the resolve to press on in spite of pain or exhaustion, which is why it helps with health and mana regen. It has no relation to ghosts and ancestors

I still don’t understand why Shamans are the only healing class in classic (At least pretty sure) that doesn’t get some form of Spirit Synergy, despite all the healing gear itemized for spirit. Feels weird.
They benefit from it the same way any other healer does: mana regen
They are the only healing specialization that does not get the ability to continue regenerating mana while casting. That’s what I mean by synergy.
That’s just a case of the Vanilla devs didn’t know how to develop classes in 2004. It’s a dumb design decision to be sure, but there’s not any thematic reason shamans specifically should have something like that like your OP implies
What makes you think that Priests and Druids are specifically more spiritual than Shamans?

Shaman and Pala dont, I play both. Pala is even more strange because its mana conservation mechanism is crit due to illumination talent and chugging mana pots and dark runes / mp5 stat.
Yes, I read it, but if you are claiming shamans are lacking something, what specifically are they lacking that Priests and Druids don’t? Your the one saying they are lacking something.

You are technically correct, you didn’t directly say it, but you did imply that apparently Shamans (And Paladins) apparently lack the ability to work with their own personal resolve.

Perhaps you need to look within to connect with the spirit.
That chain heal has plenty of spirit within.

I’ve been poking at classic off and on since they released classic.
TBH Classic has the Class Fantasy that doesn’t exist for Shamans anymore in retail.
But I am really tired of being a healer and constantly drowning in spirit gear that I don’t really benefit from.
You do, your hp / mana regen out of combat is important.
Moo? Moo, moo, moo. Moo. Stack intellect, moo… spirit regenerates MOOna because Shaman go OOM (Moo backwards).
