Living through the current state of warlock (demo) … and seeing the 11.1 notes…
Blizz, why should I bother playing my lock when you guys really don’t seem to care that they are on the bottom, with no end in sight.
Pretty frustrating and de-motivating to have a PURE dps class at the bottom of DPS charts

Being a non-S tier dps isn’t the end of the world.
All specs are more than adequate to complete any content you wish, and it really only holds you back if you’re doing world first mythic or something extremely competitive.

I’m having an absolute blast with demo, but I’m also not doing any content where +/- some% on the damage meters amounts to anything. If they are numerically out of line with the other DPS, then I support a buff.
(as a warlock main, I welcome any and all buffs!)

Yep… The spec is fun.
It just sucks in group events.

Do you have any specific examples that stand out to you? What content are you finding it lacking in?
Thank you very much! Much appreciated
Yeah, just enjoy your neglect and mediocrity and let the favoured classes, which are always the same ones, have fun.

When you spend your time constantly comparing your class to the next guy, then yeah it’s going to appear that way to you.
Fun can be had even without being top dps. I just play the spec I like which happens to be affliction. It hasn’t held me back from doing any content I wanted to do.

Your frustration is valid, but the vitriol is misdirected.
For the majority of players, any spec is fine for the content they might do. Most players don’t push into content where min/maxing is necessary.
There are obviously class mechanics or functions that can be frustrating for some. Aff for one could use some updates for sure, but it’s not disingenuous or ignorant for someone to not be as bothered by them as you are.
Or you know, comparing to everyone else.
This is such a bad take. You are effectively saying “It’s OK Blizzard, you can neglect and poorly design my class/spec because even the most unfun trash can still complete most things in the game”.
Rather than offering constant excuses for Blizzard everyone should be demanding better. Or at least adequacy, which is probably the highest you can hope for with this current generation of development.

You should re-read my post. Nowhere did I make excuses for Blizzards lack of attention.
Comparing to everyone else is just a recipe for perpetual dissatisfaction. Every class (even top meta specs) will fall short somewhere in their design.
One thing that might help is if you actually suggested what would make warlock better. So far all you’ve said is it’s trash, which is so general and of no substance. It gives zero direction for Blizz to go on.
Saying “Everyone is better than my class!” Doesn’t allude to any specific issue that could be addressed.
Again this is just meaningless white knighting for Blizzards poor design choice. You are just content with “your class is perfectly fine if you don’t look at anyone else”. You want us to accept poor class/spec design.
There’s already plenty of very good and detailed feedback around. It’s been there since alpha, and it’ still there now. in Kalamazi’s latest round up (the one where he tries to protect his streamer privilege by saying "blizzard are far better than me at designing warlocks - which made me LOL with how both incorrect and pandering it was).
I have nothing to add, I agree with the feedback. Blizzard can start there or in one of the many feedback posts here.

So, you have nothing to say other than you’re upset about something and Blizzard should take note of this, …interesting.
I’m sorry for your poor comprehension skills, I blame the schools not you.
What I said was I have nothing further to add to the other feedback and potential solutions given.
Just for once we want to be the S+
it has been awhile like 14 years.

I main 3 classes, warlock-shaman-druid. Between those I can always be viable in my guilds raid team.
The class I have most fun with is Demo Warlock but sadly my enhance shaman who is 10 + ilvls lower does the same dps.

Switched from affliction to destruction and the class feels a lot better. I’m doing much more damage easier. I feel affliction is poorly designed. I haven’t tried demo yet
if all you care about is being S+ tier you will never find anything in wow fun.
