For no time limit WSG?!
I'm taking 2 warriors with me every BG I enter on my Shaman.
Gonna WF totem the alliances face off!
There's a time limit in WSG? When did they add that? o.O I don't remember that being there in either Vanilla or BC.
Also, it's odd how I'm not a PvPer (haven't touched a BG in a looong time), yet I'm looking forward to BGs again. I even want a purely PvP character eventually (undead priest maybe? dunno).

There has been one for quite some time in WSG. I believe it was 15 minutes the last time I played.
I really can't wait to see some 2h Shammys destroying people

WSG has changed a lot since vanilla. Since vanilla they added a 25 minute timer which eventually got reduced to 15 minutes.
They also added a stacking debuff which gets applied to the flag carriers after they've held the flag for a certain duration of time. Stacks are incremented by one every few minutes indefinitely. Each stack increases their damage taken by 10% and after 5 stacks your movement speed cannot rise above 100%. Stacks are passed to whoever has the flag and are even for horde and alliance side until both flags are returned or someone caps.
They've basically made WSG sudden death. I don't like it. But that's what happens when you have 14 years of modifying the game in favor of casuals.
Thanks for the info Invulnerable and Dealloc. Anyone knows when they implemented these changes? I played a lot of BGs and don't remember either mechanics being a thing but it could be due to faulty memory. I remember WSG games that would last a looong time, with both horde and alliance hiding with the flag (sometimes glitching in unreachable areas. You'd end up knowing all the sneaky spots after a while)

Oh Hell Yes, i so miss burst damage of doom, Wind-furry proc's on a 2H was awesome, you just had to manage the long swing time carefully and avoid those rogues.
