From the looks of it , it looks like the thing is the XboX Ally which is their version of Steam Deck which can already play WoW.

Now if there is a larger pc coming with the Xbox name that remains to be seen .

I wouldn’t waste your time on these monkeys going it is coming to console when other threads have shown that it isn’t an actual console.

They are just trolls going for bites because they need a 2nd Sunday

Nope. Haven’t got an Xbox since the 360, and no plans to get another.

Adding full controller support to main game? Probably still won’t do that, even if it’s just needing to be plugged in; too used to the mouse & keyboard setup for this game. The options always there for FFXIV, but I similarly don’t bother with the option.

I haven’t played on a console in 25 years. Closest thing I have to console gaming is a switch 2. my PC works just fine.

I’m far more concerned about what this shift means for WINDOWS needing to accommodate both regular desktops and consoles.

WoW is not “coming to console”

The console will be able to fully use Windows OS. So WoW is “coming to console” as much as Microsoft Word is.

I am thinking about a mac mini with an xbox controller for my next wow box. kinda over building a full gaming pc for the only game I really play. and the blasphemy of it all puts a smile on my face

A “curated Windows gaming PC” is Microsoft’s buzzword for the next-gen Xbox console.

It’s a hybrid. Still has a console launcher and I doubt you’ll be able to upgrade it. For all intents and purposes it’s a console with a built in smart tv UI.

A PC will still be far superior and you’ll probably be able to download the UI for it and just launch it like an app from your PC and emulate it.

I havent had anything past an Xbox 360 and a PS3.

PC will always be my platform.
