So who is the final boss

didnt blizz say we would know who the final boss is by now
i havent figured it out yet. nozdormu?

It looks like it will be Iridikron, the Primal Incarnate of Earth. He was first teased by Alexstrasza in a cutscence and after the Vault of Incarnates, he seems to be their leader.

Iridikron. My bet is, he is going to intentionally turn into a weird void monstrosity ala Galakrond we fight at the end when his bargains with his shadowy benefactors come due.

Iridikron is the next major boss figure, but whether or not he’s the final boss remains to be seen. There’s still plenty of directions the expansion can take before we reach the end.

The blizzard writing team are the final boss I’m sure.

It’s bob. Bob the burgermeister.

Seriously though, it’s probably going to be void related via iridikron or murozurond

My money is on Iridikron. The next raid will probably deal with the other two (ice and fire). Iridikron gets angry and in his desperation, drinks from the saronite corrupted pools that Galakrond once drank from (the difference though is one is intentional, while the other is implying to be accidental). N’zoths whispers during our time in the Black Empire kinda hints towards this. N’zoths were the only ones that were different. C’thuns, Yogg-sarons and Y’shaarj’s were reused. From AQ, Old Kingdom and SoO / Xal’atoh respectively.

My guess the mega dungeon will involve the infinite dragonflight. It is being released after the second raid according to the road map (10.1.5). So my money is on us going through time to recover the discs we failed to obtain in the Legacy of Tyr dungeon. In order to combat the latest incarnation of Galakrond.

I’m putting my money on Iridikron becoming Galakrond 2.0 in some way and Murozond being in response to that because the aspects can’t get their powers back quickly enough to stop him.

After that I don’t know if we get Murozond as an enemy or if Chromie’s whole thing about helping him and her being friendly with that one infinite dragon means Murozond and the Infinites will end up allies instead of enemies or something. The PCs keep being told that time is odd around us (Ellisande’s comment after we beat her for example) so maybe our influence changes Nozdormu/Murozond’s fate.

I have a feeling Xal’atath will be coming back before the end of the expansion. The mysterious coin is foreshadowing for some Ethereals plot later in the expasion which points to the end of the expansion leading into void related stuff. I think it will be like BFA where the immediate threat is dealt with early and the rest of the expansion is not dragon themed.

If the Ethereals are in the second half or thrid half then Alleria and Locus Walker will have a much bigger role. Xal’atath wanted Alleria to succumb to the whispers are fufill her destiny of become a servant of N’Zoth.

To everyone who thinks it’s one of the Incarnates or Murozond: I’m a Nigerian prince and you’re my new heir for a small one-time fee. You think small, and have learned nothing from past expansions.

The last patch (or at least raid) will take place in the Arcane plane, with a possible showing of Zereth Ordos, and almost certainly against some greater cosmic force that hasn’t shown up yet in Dragonflight; possibly a reveal that the Titans don’t rule over Order/Arcane as originally thought.

Are you sure you’re not a secret blizzard writer?

Nozdormu seems like the obvious answer.

Odyn might come up, as he seems to be friendly with Storm stuff, and not so friendly with the Titan Empowered Dragons. He might link up with the Primalists down the line.

Yrel could come up - like maybe she changes the timelines and kills Nozdormu because Bronze Dragons caused alot of problems for her.

I find the lack of Chromantus disturbing.

It will be Tyr, so I can segue into some terrible puns like: that boss fight really brought a Tyr to my eye.

Maybe they played God of War ragnarok and want to do something like Santa Monica did with their Tyr lol.
