Currently there are 344 on Mankrik, 511 on Pagle, 192 on Westfall // 295 on Atiesh, 143 on Myzrael, 43 on Old Blanchy.

I have done my fair share of suffering and trauma on a drama swamped “new players” realm blizzard assigned me to back when I didn’t know what I was getting into.
Whether queues be 1 or 1 million, I AM STAYING ON A FULL REALM THIS TIME.

Reddit polls can be a good starting statistic, but I wouldn’t take them as holy word.
The site is horde heavy and likes to hivemind onto things.

I’m not switching, but do plan on creating some toons on them. I have a few Tauren with good names on an RP server with discord guildies I’m content not to give up. But I might do something like roll an orc and troll on a pvp server and maybe one of each race on a normal server. And maybe a dwarf and night elf or gnome on one of the other pvp servers. Not sure which pvp servers will be swarmed with one faction or the other. Probably a human, night elf, and dwarf on one of the RP servers while I’m at it. (Mostly just to get good names up front. I expect to spend most of my time maining a tauren hunter on an rp server and maybe goof around with the others to see how other classes play later.)

I had like 3 super names I’d like to knock people down for, but a good list of 50 or so relatively safe second string names I’d like to go after too. Second string names are the sort that are on 60-100 retail servers, and the 3 super names are on every single retail and classic server currently as near as I can tell.

Edit: probably my only regret is that we don’t have Vanilla’s lack of constraints on what names we could get. :slight_smile: Would be cool to go after popular NPC names or some 2-letter words and things like that without the alt-codes.

Also, they failed to mention not to roll on the full or high pop servers! I think I would have thrown that in there.

When the new servers launch, you’ll have practically unlimited name reservation. If you don’t get what you want, just stick with the old servers.

Yeah, there’s some unknown but very real segment of players who are presently unsubbed and only plan to sub for classic on launch day. And even my guild on Bloodsail is expecting some mob of impatient people to come crashing down on our server from Herod and Whitemane and the others - people who’d rather play than spend the night in queue. Blues say the medium pop servers should have little or no queue, but I think we’ll count ourselves lucky if it’s not more than the 30 minutes we had on the stress test.

I have not managed to get Mycatsmellslikepoo on any server yet so may switch if the name is not taken on the new server

100% switching to classic servers. Come 8/27, retail servers will cease to exist to me.

If Pagle has a large queue I’ll probably switch to Westfall. I’m not pre committed to a guild or anything.

Don’t sweat it. If people can’t wait for a queue for a few days they were never going to make it to 60 anyway.
